Houston's QB looked damn good IMO. He's got a Wilson/Murray-esque "mobile midget" vibe.

The one on the other winning team today looked pretty decent as well.

We'll get 2 more games today:

-One on FOX at 2 PM EST (this one will be at MetLife Stadium... I give the local team a good shot at becoming NYC's second-best football team  ).

-The other on ESPN at 5 PM EST.
Cardale Jones (the defenders) looked fantastic. He was always an very talented guy. Someone else here probably knows more as to why he only threw 11 passes in his 5 or so year NFL career than I do.

Yesterday he looked great. I know it ain't the same level, but these games look good. Walker looks every bit legit. He will likely get an NFL look, at least on a practice squad (pays 2-3 times better than xfl right now) unless he can't go through progressions well enough. That man is GODDAMN talented

Nevermind. Looks like Walker was already dropped from the colts practice squad so... Guess he's got some weaknesses that show up at that level

Vipers getting their ass beat early. Murray showing why after a great SEC career, he never through an NFL pass. He cannot make decisions at this speed. Mcgloin looking good out there. Excellent vision at this speed.

Looking forward to seeing my goddamn Defenders playing these Guardians next week

His height (lack thereof, specifically) would be a big cause for concern in the NFL.

Having said that, maybe some time away from the NFL will help him hone his game. Kurt Warner was dropped from practice squads and relegated to other leagues for years before taking the NFL by storm in his first year as a starter.

Both Dallas and St.Louis offenses look like they will be lighting up scoreboards this season, but they can't even remotely get it going yet. For the most part I think they'll be good once they get a couple of games in. Liking Ta'amu so far.

Really looking forward to next week. DC vs NY and Stl vs Houston should be a lot of fun.

Thanks to OP. O had completely forgotten that this was coming back and tuned in for the lawlz. Got a really fun product and a... Semi home team that I would actually look forward to going to see and wearing their merch.

Landry Jones was supposed to be Dallas' starting QB, but he injured his knee in practice.

The good, the bad and the ugly in week one.

good

10 minute halfs
one foot in bounds
the ball spotter
the 25 second clock

bad

way too much talk about the NFL

ugly

trying to talk to players, it's awkward and we get nothing out of it.
listening to the plays being called, yep....boring.
