What real man accuses another of “adultery”?
One who is deliberately posting an opinion he knows will be unpopular, as per the thread title.

Personally I don't really care about people's sex lives, but I find it odd that a religious person, and someone who is generally revered, was happy to cheat on his wives, and to give them the odd slap.

By all means shag about. I did, most people do, but don't get married and/or make out that you are actually following a religion.

Following a religion is one thing.
Getting your dick wet is another.

Mayweather beats any SFW in history. Figet passes for being lazy cunts and not training. You hear it about the likes of Toney "If he was more serious he would have done X Y Z". Well he wasn't, dedication is just as big of a part of boxing if not moreso than raw talent. RJJ beats his ass every day and twice on Sunday regardless of his motivation.

I don’t know if I agree with that mate because if we go down the road of you have to have done something to have an opinion on it soon enough we’re all talking rubbish I guess !
I know what you mean mate and you're right. It's just that I don't blame him for biting back against armchair warriors. Nobody here would sit him down and try to completely obliterate his career and achievements while they themselves have never as much punched a bag. I know for a fact that I wouldn't take that shit if I was pro who actually held a respected title.

I always find its the people who have never boxed or stepped inside a boxing gym that gets the most riled up about it.

Yeah... But there are lots of ways you can get your end away without lying, cheating, or being a hypocrite.

It's just part of a pattern of crappy behaviour on his part. A lot of his escapades would make good Jeremy Kyle episodes.

Still a great fighter, and a cultural icon. Also he's dead, so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Brilliant. Me too.
Ha. I don't really have time to Explain properly, but here's the gist.

People like to explain the decline of the American dominance in heavyweight boxing through the fall of the iron curtain, and the increased popularity, and wages, in American football and basketball.

These are almost certainly contributing factors, but there are others, (notably the advent of radio, TV, closed circuit, ppv, the Internet), including some less palatable reasons that are oft ignored.

Boxing is predominantly a sport of the lower classes. Things that impact the poorer elements of society will therefore disproportionately impact it.

When access to abortion and health care increased in the states it allowed people to avoid having kids they didn't want or couldn't look after.

A lot of the best US heavies came from large, poor families, (eg. Foreman, Frazier, and Liston I think off the top of my head).

If their parents had the same healthcare choices then they might never have been born, or they might have had a more comfortable upbringing, and be less likely to take up fighting or be less hungry in the ring.

This would start to be felt from children born in the 80s onwards. As would the influx of hard drugs and guns.

The impact of these are obvious and straightforward. You are less likely to become the heavyweight champ if you are dead, in prison, or hooked on coke/crack/meth.

It's a bleak and basic argument. The trends however are there to see, but proving any casuality would take time, energy, and resources I don't have.

Will need to think on the Mayweather one, but agree with RJJ - Toney, and lazy bastards in general.

Are you Ali reincarnated?

It's cool, I don't take very little personal or serious anyway.

I am fairly sure I am a real man though. I even have the certificate to prove it.

Just for argument's sake though, if someone were worried they were a "fake" man, is there any signs they should look out for? Asking for a friend.

Great thanks.

I don't look like a bitch, and I'm not being fucked like one, so I assume I am OK. Phew.

Plus I hung a door yesterday, that was pretty manly.

In his, prime, Pipino Cuevas beats Roberto Duran.

Leon Spinks, trained properly, beat Ken Norton in 1978.

Ray Robinson could have given Jersey Joe Walcott a proper fight if they had fought for the heavyweight belt.

Jeff Chandler gives Wilfredo Gomez all he could handle at 122, more so than Lupe Pintor.

If he didn't lose to Jess Willard, Jack Johnson holds on to the world title for another couple of years.
