this fight could happen after Okolie has defended his British and Commonwealth Titles on the Whyte/Rivas undercard according to Hearn...

European Ref is going to DQ Okolie for trying to hug Ngabu to death.

However it would make a decent doubleheader UK vs Belgium card if you stuck Taylor/Persoon 2 on it.

Edit: So it was quickly deleted for some reason, but Matchroom matchmaker Paul Ready Tweeted this fight has been agreed and will take place during the new boxing season.

Has anyone seen Ngabu? This is an intriguing one on paper. Unlikely to translate to an enjoyable fight as it is Okolie we're talking about, but it's a good step-up for him.

Odds:
Ngabu 3/1
Okolie 1/3

Came in to ask the same q as @dkos, has anybody seen the French fella?
Not seen anything of him but just to look at him he looks like a strong, tough bastard.

Okolie looks fragile as fuck, he might be a big puncher but he’s skin and bone, with quite a small, narrow head. I’m defo gonna have a few quid on him to win by stoppage, just based on the above and my gut instinct.

Not to mention the recent trend of hyped Matchroom prospects getting battered at Euro level.

I know @Berliner has said to back Ngabu by stoppage, and he has a good grasp of the European boxing scene.
He reminds me a bit of Makabu (except the different stance). Short strong guy whith good explosive power. I think he beats Okolie. Although Okolie might be able to win an ugly close Decision by clinching and spoiling but Ngabu is the better fighter imo.
