what the hell has happened, can't find the boxing on any of the sky channels - it was set on record and actually started recording then it has just disappeared completely. Antone else having problems or anyone know what sky channel it is on

Fast & furious start with AUS doing most of the scoring, he seems to be the more talented & skilled. 6-3 AUS
ALG has upped the pace & having more joy. ALG pulls off a checkhook sending AUS through the ropes. 9-8 AUS
Big shots & good footwork from ALG, momentum has swung in his favour. AUS fighting back & taking risks. 14-12 ALG

Very good start to the day, the AUS lad is young but a talent. One to watch out for in the future.

Same thing happened with me (but I was able to find the boxing during the ringwalks) and I also agree about Sky being useless. I have had bother with the tv guide listings in the past and called sky before about this (Premier Sports was the channel in question) - Sky said to me that the tv guide listings are the sole responsibility of the channel itself and that sky were not to blame for any changes or misleading listings as the tv channels control their own listings. So I contacted Premier Sports and they shelved the blame onto Sky claiming Sky control the tv guide listings and not them. So, I don't know who to believe and more importantly who is to blame.

Anyways, back to the boxing that first bout was a pretty good opener for today.

BRA looks a class above PRK early on but PRK is a tidy fighter himself. Quiet 1st round. 2-2
Still a tactical affair but midway through they start trading. BRA landing the cleaner shots. 8-5 BRA
PRK loading up but missing everything. BRA countering & spoiling inside, messy 3rd round. 12-8 BRA

Oteng (BOT) vs Cintron Ocasio (PUR) -Ocasio has the best haircut Ive ever seen :lol: A legendary multi-coloured mullet

Lively start, both guys very active & not hanging around. Good 1st round. 3-3
Both guys working hard but few scoring shots are landing early on. BOT has got some slick moves & is winning the round. 9-9 (?)
Still a fast pace, BOT sneaking some right hands in. PUR's headguard goes flying, exposing his magnificent hair. PUR looks knackered as BOT finishes strongly.

14-12 PUR. Shocking decision, worse than the Ghanaian & Thai lads who were on the wrong end of a bad decision.

Good start, both guys planting their feet & loading up. KEN left hook the best shot of a fun 1st round. 6-6
Fierce exchanges from close range & EGY scoring slightly more & moving well. KEN coming back strong. 14-11 EGY (?)
KEN working very hard but EGY still picking off scoring shots. KEN keeps the pressure, he doesnt deserve to lose this. 19-16 EGY

Mamishzada (AZE) vs Nyambayar (MGL)

Bright start to the fight, AZE left hook catching the eye. Both guys have good technique but the AZE has edged it. 5-4 AZE
Closely contested 2nd, MGL coming on well & scoring with right hands. 11-8 MGL
MGL boxing behind the jab & in control. AZE landing a few when they start trading but MGL is winning this, bar another bad decision. 18-11 MGL

Almatbouli (JOR) vs Lawal (NGR)

NGR is taller & has a nice looking jab, JOR is a unit but a bit sluggish. No real fireworks in a slow 1st round. 5-3 JOR
JOR landing right hands & looks very strong, A few jabs from NGR but not a lot of action. 11-5 JOR
NGR chasing the fight but getting caught charging forward. Solid left hook from JOR lands & NGR takes an 8 count. 19-7 JOR

Sangwan (IND) vs Falcao Florentino (BRA)

Good clash/contrast of styles, IND long-limbed & athletic, BRA compact & solid. Close 1st round & hard to call, perhaps the IND doing better. 5-4 BRA
IND boxing from distance, BRA looks powerful in close. IND moves up a gear & lands some great straight shots. 10-8 BRA (?)
IND starts well, outscoring BRA who looked hurt briefly. IND keeps landing right hands & deserves the decision. 15-11 BRA

Another terrible decision, the 3rd today :-(
