Hearn has gone from not having a promoters licence to being the Number 1 promoter in UK with complete control of all sky dates in 2 years. That cannot be done in that time by bringing through young fighters, although he is also investing in younger fighter. If Frank didnt piss off everyone maybe more of his fighters would be more loyal :think

ye he's not an independent journalist now i just look through it, but in his defence the last Matchroom card was awful, how many Matchroom cards recently have been "Name vs No Hoper" yet no-one complains, but if Warren does it theres uproar. Barker-Rotolo, Purdy-Rivera, Groves-Balmaceda, if you change Barker to BJS and Purdy to Gavin and were told that was the Wembley bill that was meant to be the week after everyone would have slated Warren

I like Hearn and Matchroom have put on some decent cards, the one coming up in Liverpool looks very good but lets not pretend every show has been brilliant, and we're getting less than before, if we were getting a show a week i wouldnt complain

But Purdy had a good opponent who pulled out the week of the show and Groves was only added in the final week. Rotolo for Barker wasn't a horrible fight on paper IMO. He has singled out one bad, unfortunate card meanwhile Clev-Karpency was 'a perfectly acceptable homecoming fight' or something similar.

Difference between Froch and Cleverly is that almost every Cleverly opponent is in the Mack bracket, Froch was having a stay busy fight between Bute and Kessler. Everyone knows that Saunders will beat Hall tomorrow and that's an awful fight...

Im just saying if that had been a Warren show he would have got absolutely slated, but Hearn gets away with it. Since he got the Sky monopoly his shows have been the same standard as Warren no different. Admittedly he seems to want to change that, the Liverpool card coming up looks great and hopefully that will be the standard from now on, good main event and good undercard, simple
