6th June - This Day in History - Hearns vs Barkley I

barkley is homeless and penniless now...or he was last i heard, although i seen him pop up on a youtube video doing an interview at some boxing show lately.

after that first hearns fight, barkley fought a split decision with roberto duran in the fight of that year......duran went on to earn 10 million in the next fight against sugar ray leonard and (he says) barkley only got 6,000 dollars to fight michael nunn.
