I was thinking of this thread last night. I'm going to name my 10 greatest boxers of all time, in order. What I want everyone to do is tell me the single best opponent each fighter beat, and then arrange those fighters into a list, with the greatest at the top.

I know this is one for the historians, but I decided to put it in this section of the forum as I was hoping others could name a list of 10 boxers (current or retired) and we can come up with their 'best opponent' list also (for example, best of current British Heavyweights, etc).

I'm sure people will have a lot of problems with the names chosen, and the order they're in.

I have to admit straight away that I probably have no defence against criticism. This was a bit of quick one, but I thought I would get the ball rolling.

thats a good effort imo, might take saddler down a peg or two but thats a pretty solid list, wheres @Flea Man?

As GPater will tell you (if he's still about) I do tend to overrate Saddler quite a bit (one of my favourite boxers).

I would have no problem with anyone who wants to knock him down the list a few places.
