This Saturday on Showtime, WBC Super-Bantamweight champion Abner Mares takes on the awkward and highly rated bantamweight king Anselmo Moreno in a terrific main event.

The undercard features exciting young Mexican prospect and IBF belt holder Leo Santa Cruz defending his title against Victor Zaleta. Britian's Nathan Cleverly returns to the ring for the first time since February, against late step-in Shawn Hawk while Alfredo Angulo takes on Raul Casarez at Light-Middleweight.

I think it will be very close, Moreno's tricky style will likely confuse Mares, but Abner is a smarter fighter than given credit for and he's quick too I could see him getting inside on Moreno and landing a few before Chemito can counter. The only thing is, Mares doesn't posses the style that has given Moreno problems in the past, but I mean we could find out something new about both of them in this fight.

I think Mares wins but it in theory looks like a close fight that could go either way.

Some decent fights for the second half of the year. It's a shame that the top boys are likely to be in fights no one gives a toss about.

I think it's damned near built for a controversial decision. But, a lackluster version of one and an as-good-as-he-gets version of another and it might not even be close. I'm very up for this. Interesting clash.

Class fight with a great clash of style's, Ive never been as high on Mares as some of you have and I think he will play right into Moreno's hands. Anselmo to win via clear deicision, around the 116-112 mark. It'l be great if this fight is at 122, because Moreno would be another great addition to the weight class.

This has the potential to be messy and controversial, however it is still possibly the fight I will look forward to most. Mares will be happy to be the aggressor with Moreno also happy to counter, it's gonna be a chess match with fireworks too.
