Does he think Roach was holding him back from having a chin then? Maybe Roach was giving Chavez and Pac Amir's chin, behind his back. That's a scary thought. Maybe Roach has it in some mystical safe or some shit and Amir still won't get any of it. Damn, that Roach is a convoluted mufucka.

Agreed. I don't understand how he thinks Roach is responsible for the Garcia loss. It's clearly his ego. The same can be said with the Peterson loss. Against Peterson he was trying to be a macho man and take his shots, someone should have whispered to him that that's not how to win a fight. Maybe Roach should have whispered.

Good.

Blame Roach all you want, bet he didn't tell you when you came back after the third round "Hey Amir, just go headfirst into a firefight when you're clearly not thinking straight". Roach could've not been there for the full camp, doesn't change the fact he didn't listen to him in the corner and went to war. Balls of steel, but can't blame Roach for anything. He's a big trainer in demand, he had to come to terms with that.

The nerve of his team telling him to drop JCC and Pacquiao is hilarious though.

But I don't know what Khan hopes to learn with even the best defensive coaches, he's not gonna change his style too dramatically and its down to him not following the gameplan and trying to prove the macho stuff than it is his skills (and there's another way to beat him with his flaws) or even, his chin.

Khan has handled all this about as well as he handled the first 50 seconds of the Prescott fight, what a mess! Maybe a change will do him good but he'll have to be managed carefully before taking on any punchers ...
