I thought it was very good. Gave a few nuggets away that interested me. In the Khan-Garcia Behind the Ropes, more than a few people who saw the sparring footage saw it as a red flag and it proved to be a precursor to what went on in the ring and I think the same can be said for a few things we saw last night.

I think we saw the scale of the transformation Virgil Hunter is looking to do - footwork, defence, shot selection - it's going to be a rebuild rather than refinement.
His analysis of Khan's decision making in the ring was interesting - he pointed out his foot movement was often taking him either into range or onto the ropes, something a few on here mentioned if I remember.

We also saw that it is probably not going to be an overnight success but a gradual process, Khan struggled to get some elements of it and without seeing the sparring, Virgil seemed quite agitated with Khan, as if he was struggling to put it all into effect.

I was impressed with Molina too.

Great post :good

Yeah I noticed a lot of that as well. I thought it was important that Virgil pointed out to Khan exactly where he was going wrong a few times. The times where Khan thinks he's stepping out of range well but he's actually moving into more danger by leaving himself open is an aspect that Hunter needs to sort out asap.

You gotta give Khan a lot of credit for the work he puts in and his dedication in moving to different trainers and his desire to learn from the best.

I also thought Molina seemed better than I initially expected. Could be a good fight.
