Won a technical decision over Joan Guzman last night for the vacant belt, dropping him in round 3. In round 8 Guzman was pushed to the floor and showed he had a sore knee, Khabib then pounced on him when the fight continued, dropping Guzman who's knee suddenly was about 100 times worse. The ref stopped the fight and it went to the scorecards. 76-75 for Guzman and 76-75 X 2 for Allakhverdiev.

It was ruled an accidental foul so went to the scorecards.whats the wba rules on this? Not seen the fight yet but if Guzman couldn't continue because of a dicky knee not occurring from a foul then its a stoppage?
