Arce went out like a warrior, he doesn't get the plaudits he deserves sometimes because he fought in the small weight classes, obviously hardcore fans will always hold him in high regard, Second Mexican fighter to win titles in 4 divisions. Hope he enjoys retirement.

Yeah it's only the hardcore fans who tune in for these guys which is such a shame. Arce was a tremendous fighter, his battle with Hussein was insane!
I think people are starting to appreciate the lower classes now. Viloria / Marquez was perhaps fight of the year, Calderon one of the best boxers ok the planet a few years ago etc.

That Darchinyan guy beat up BOTH these cats. I remember he should've gotten a stoppage win over Donaire but they called it an elbow decision or some shit. No wonder Donaire don't want none of Moreno.

A lot of my mate's are casual's and i always try and tell them some of the most exciting scraps are in the southern divisions, and they use to say "oh no those small fighter's have got no power there's never any KO's" until i showed them some recent fight's with massive KO's to prove them wrong. I prefer the lighter division's some of the best technician's are down there and have ridiculous engine's.
