Rogan is fighting on the frampton card so he's out. whyte might be an option if his ban is up by then, Cornish maybe?
Then there's names like sexton, Dallas, McDermott etc.
can't think of others, Harrison, towers and sprott are probably the least likely options that could happen (except sprotts licence stuff)

Kinda bored of it by now. They've had what like, over 20 Prizefighters and none of them have been particularly entertaining? They've had their moments but none have really lived up to the potential. They need to put 8 fucking mentalists in there for a real prize. Some of them just play it safe. Putting Junior Witter in there was a recipe for disaster.

I think they are running short on the British scene unless they start just using prospects and complete has-been's. At some point they are going to have to take the whole thing internationally as its getting real stale (has been for years imo). The odd one stands out as a quality show but they are getting few and far between, I thought the whole point of it was to build some interest in the winner but it rarely does these days.

Got this in my emails. Not from Matchroom but its a Heavyweight tournament.

The Great American Heavyweight Box-off

NEW YORK CITY (January 9, 2013) - Veteran promoter/matchmaker Don Elbaum will host a press conference Wednesday, January 16 at the world famous Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn (NY) to make a major announcement regarding the creation of The Great America Heavyweight Box-Off (TGAHBO).

The tournament will launch in early 2013 and it has been planned as an annual event. Elbaum will reveal details of the tournament, including the tournament purse structure, including a $250,000 winner's purse, as well as projected dates, venues and other pertinent information. The eight participating American heavyweights, plus one reserve in case of injuries, will be announced and most will be in attendance.

Or, and I know this isn't going to happen, take a 2 year break and let the situation in the various British weight divisions "freshen up" a bit.
