I liked the interview, he came across well, and didn't have a problem saying that Amir has screwed up, and he and his team have tried to learn from those mistakes - he was saying the right things, hopefully it's true and he means them. I'm intrigued as to how he does.

Never looked like a power puncher in the fights I've seen him in tbh - he might be more come forward but he aint a massive puncher imo unless he's been working on that aspect in training. He's not as talented as Amir either. I think he'll do well to win a domestic title.

Has there ever been a fighter who wasn't great at amateur level, but went on to be fantastic in the pro's. Not the same as someone who didn't have much/any amateur experience, but someone who was genuinely considered to be not a good prospect as an amateur.

Johnny Nelson was 3-10 as an amateur.

didnt hear much hype around Lee Selby and he could turn out to be Britain's best ever :deal

best example i can think of, didnt Liam Walsh lose his first 15 amateur bouts? or someone like that did im sure
