Joe Ward looks good and gets the win, meaning the British Lionhearts have won all 3 bouts so far and have won tonight, John Joe Nevin up now

Nevin was unlucky there. Tight bout though and he hasn't been back training long so he should be flyinit for the next round of matches

It was a good night. I was sat 2 rows behind McGuigan & Calzaghe, I spoke to Selby after his fight & shook Franceso Damiani's hand.

I thought Selby's fight was the best performance of the night, Nevin was a bit unlucky & Evans got a gift.

worth going then? i enjoyed it from what i saw, bit gutted i had to watch on youtube (the streaming idea is good though) as im only down the road in swansea but couldnt get my student loan to stretch :lol:

I enjoyed the format, 5 good fights & no journeymen types just there to survive. Celtic Manor is a nice venue & I'd definately go again.

Selby had great support & is very popular with the ladies :yep
@Mandanda After his fight I asked Andrew Selby if his brother was in the crowd watching & he said he was in Vegas sparring. I was tempted to ask him if he'd heard from Gamboa about his missing Dre's :lol:

they were all good little scraps, sometimes the fighters were still in the amateur mindset but thats to be expected i guess
