Yeah a few weeks back, working under Imran Naeem who is head coach at the Natural Progression amateur gym - he also has Shafiq Asif and Mo Waqas as pros.

Nice. I know they have an amateur team, but I didn't know of anyone boxing out of the gym professionally.

I remember going there a few times 6/7 years ago before it was redeveloped. Imran and the guys there have done a great job in turning the place around; they even have a boxing ring now! :yep

Yeah it used to be just a room didn't it. I think they do kick boxing and stuff as well - I know a few of their boxers were kickboxing champions as well.

Yeah, it was just an open space with a few bags up around the walls and a couple of free-standing pieces of equipment. Not much actual boxing was taught either from what I remember, although Imran wasn't running it back then I don't think.
