Is it me or does something about this video not seem all that real? It's weird. I don't know why the commission would leave Wach and his team alone with the gloves unsupervised before the fight either, and clearly they didn't check it thoroughly enough that if Vitali didn't catch it, he could have gone in the ring with those gloves. Maybe they thought that without the late Steward around to check the gloves that the corner had nobody experienced enough to come in and see the defects and thought they could get away with it.

Though the Klitschkos always do this before fights whether there's something wrong or not. Mind games. Wlad got Chisora to change his gloves pre fight for no reason.
I'll wait for any action to be taken before making a judgement. If nothing comes of it then it's just the Klitschkos being pre-fight dicks as per.

I think if Vitali thought it looked like blatant tampering, well, you know, Vitali gets pissed pretty easily. He didn't even raise his voice here, did he? This guy thinks someone's trying to do illegal bodily harm to his kid brother, he's going to go uberbattenshitzen or whatever they call it there. You know. I would think.

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15KOs) says he never received any official communication that informed him that he tested positive for an anabolic steroid in connection to his November 10th fight with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wlaidmir Klitschko. According to German paper Bild, Wach tested positive for an anabolic steroid in his "A" sample, and faces a one-year ban from Germany Boxing Federation if his "B" sample also tests positive.
Wach says the first time he was advised of the positive test was when his phone started ringing from the Polish media over the report that appeared in Bild. Wach took a severe beating in the fight and lost a twelve round unanimous decision.
"The first time that I heard about it [was when I started getting calls]. I did not take anything. This information has completely stiffened my feet. I heard about this a few hours ago. Suddenly the phone started ringing. I have not received any official communication [that I tested positive]. I'm totally shattered. I look forward to further developments in the case," Wach said.
Wach is waiting to receive official confirmation that he tested positive and then he'll determine how to proceed.

Some of them will be telling the truth but hmmmmmmmmmm, seems like it's going to be the go to excuse that you can't really argue with.

Glove tampering is a criminal offence but over 3 weeks after the fight & still no official announcement. I wouldve thought it was fairly easy to determine if the faulty gloves were either poorly made or had been tampered with, if of course there is anything wrong with gloves.
Why has it taken over 3 weeks for the results of the post-fight drug test to surface?
Why havent ze German Boxing Board said anything?
Instead its Boente telling a newspaper about the positive result for the A sample despite Wach passing all the pre-fight tests.
