Andre Ward postpones fight with Pavlik due to shoulder injury
Andre Ward's scheduled January 26 fight with Kelly Pavlik has reportedly been postponed after Ward suffered a shoulder injury in training.
The Californian super-middleweight king is expected to reschedule the bout, with a spring date looking likely.
It's not the first time the 28 year old has rearranged a fight due to injury, after the final of the Super Six World Boxing Classic (which he won against Carl Froch) was delayed two months with Ward cut during sparring.
Ward thanked his followers on twitter and described the situation as a "minor setback" and that he aims to "be back in the ring shortly".
