Actually there was a point. There's a box for polls on the front page but it was outdated so I wanted to either hide it or put up something relevant, and this was easier :lol:
Slight problem though in that this thread isn't the original one that was created from the article being published so none of the posts on here will appear as comments on the front page which is a bit annoying.

Very disappointing opponent here TBH
Wlad gained a lot of respect from the Haye fight, but the level of opposition has slipped back down again.
While the division is not swimming with talent there are certainly a lot better options than these sort of fights, and we have to remember Wlad is THE heavyweight champ, and in an era this weak the least he could do is fight the best available.
Onto the fight itself, I have seen nothing to suggest that Pianeta will do anything but surrender meekly. His best recent win was Francois Botha, who was also outpointed by a rugby player in his next fight. It's about levels, and unless Pianeta raises his game immensely he will be mopped up inside 4 rounds.
I hope for better from Wlad later in the year, as I do feel the favour he won in the Haye situation will start to wear thin if he produces another opponent like this
