I like where this thread is going already......

Quality article Flea! I agree a much underrated fighter who deserves more exposure. Can't stream the vids here in Burma, but will watch when back in BKK. I'm absolutely dying to watch the bizarro one after your build up.....
What's that Khaokor fainting against Espinosa?

Need to track him down. That is one of the burning questions that I want my book to answer.

Nice post Flea.
Did I not have a discussion with you where you said you didn't rate Khaosai? ( Slightly off topic, sorry)

I rate Khaosai...but not as much as some do. He is generally overrated. @PityTheFool

I've learned a lot since I wrote this...it needs revising. And I need to do some more Asian fighters (Veeraphol for instance, who is maybe the most underrated of all Thai's)

Khaokor needs some love.

Definitely a better fighter than a quick glance at his record would suggest.

Kalulesai was a Thai mafioso?!

This explains everything!

They planned to kill Kalulesai so Khaokor threw the fight in exchange for his brother's life.
:rofl

i loved Khaosai, i really did.
i suppose it was because i seen so many of his fights on itv late at night....used to be shown very late if memory serves and i had vhs recordings of them i'd watch over again.
its easy to have liked a boxer a lot and see a lot of him boxing (days before youtube and watching footage of some great boxers was an expensive passtime, having to buy vhs tapes from adverts in boxing mags).....but to my eyes he was great to watch.......i didnt see enough of Khaokor to make a comparison...and i do know my rating of Khaosai is clouded by nostalgia on my part.

with that in mind. it makes espinosa's win even better in hindsight.

that man is severely underrated and was overshadowed by hamed.
Eh? That win is weird as fuck.

it looks like it was a late reaction.

anyways, imo, if there was something fishy about that fight, shouldnt there be a fuzz in thailand back then already?
Never seen anything like it.

Not saying there was something fishy. Only that Khaokor mayve had a problem with his health. I'll find out but I don't find this an impressive win. EDIT: There might've been talk in Thailand. Hence why I'm trying to get Thai language sources.

I find Contreras pulverising Espinosa very impressive though.

Don't dislike him (or any fighter really) but he is not severely underrated at all. Bloody good though.

@Flea Man

The link isn't working for the Espionisa fight.

Wanted to see if Khaokor had a bad case case of "Muay Lom" which it usually is if it do t smell right. All roads lead to Klao Thanikul...... (probably).
What about

Would love to hear your insight.
