Brilliant documentary about the fight between Luis Resto and Billy Collins Jr and the aftermath and the effects it had on each fighter and there family. It also shows what a bastard Panama Lewis is. If anyone hasn't seen it it's a great watch.

Yeah its a top documentary. I like a few of the HBO ones, TIM and Ring of Fire especially were really good. It's a shame they don't do these that often and instead spend their budget on stale as hell 24/7.

Agree but Resto was as much to blame, he could have said no but didn't. It's hard to feel for him especially as he continued to deny until eventually admitting his role.

I loved this documentary. I don't feel sorry for Luis Resto, but I do feel bad that he wasn't strong enough to make the right decision, possibly due to bad circumstances in his life leading up to that point.

Panama Lewis seemed to have some sort of mental hold over him, he didn't have the arse to confront him properly until the end. He should have had the courage to say no to him.

Yeah, I think they did that to get the truth out of Resto though. If they built him like a cunt he would have probably just further went into a shell so they had to make him the victim to get him to go along with the program. I think he was used by Lewis though but he defo knew exactly what he was doing as well.

Great documentary, im going giving it another watch on the tube, not watched it in a few years. It's a heartbreaking kind of watching viewing Collin's decline and death following the fight. It's also clear to see that Panama Lewis is still a cunt. He shouldnt be even let into a boxing gym, let alone still work with world class fighters.

@LP noticed they did that with it to, it kind of places most of the blame on Panama Lewis, and shows Resto as being influenced by lewis ranther than taking most of the blame himself. Still it seems that the poor fucker Resto was fairly effected by what he did that night, and at least he showed some remorse, unlike Lewis.

I can imagine them doing a Marg/Cotto version in ten years time. Not as tragic of course but they will build it up so that Cotto was never the same fighter again and marg took his greatness away from him by using bricks. Marg will just laugh.
