You have nothing positive to contribute then? This is going to be a laugh.

Number 1 is a no-brainer: Daniel Geale.Chaps,
Name your top 10 P4P Australian boxers. I don't have a great deal of knowledge about you guys down there these days, so drop some knowledge on me.
He's contributing to the post count :yep@dkos You couldn't leave it could you?
Biggest issue with many of our up-and-comers is the trend of importing seasoned losers for them to pad their records with. The traditional path of national title, followed by commonwealth title and then world honours, is a thing of the distant past.Aye, I would've thought Geale would be numero uno. I'm really concerned with up and comers I might not be aware of that can make some waves on the world scene.
For someone who thought it was going to be a laugh you seem to have taken it fairly seriously and come up with a pretty good list :yep1. Daniel Geale
2. Vic Darchinyan
3. Sakio Bika
4. Billy Dib
5. Danny Green
6. Anthony Mundine
7. Will Tomlinson
8. Wale Omotoso
9. Lenny Zappavigna
10. Garth Wood
Not confident in the list as I don't know much about the domestic level guys in Australia.
In answer to your question regarding up-and-comers. Here are a few at random >>>Aye, I would've thought Geale would be numero uno. I'm really concerned with up and comers I might not be aware of that can make some waves on the world scene.
As far as personal favourites go, Geale, Lucas Brown and Blake Caparello fit the criteria.Guess I've seen more than I thought, I've seen at least 1 fight from 8 of your top 10, Spider.
Have you got a favourite that you think has more to show in the coming years?
Good get mate. Early days for Hooper in the pro ranks, but deserves to be mentioned.Damian Hooper?
Yep. Hopefully Browne gets past Towers in impressive fashion and continues at the right pace.Agree on Caparello and Browne, they have the potential and good team/ cash behind them to get the right opponents. Blake is ready for bigger fights no doubt. Lucas needs to be built a little more carefully, Towers is perfect for his next fight. I would love to see Browne fight Sexton and Rogan before stepping up in the USA.
>>>Darchinyan?
Bika?
I thought this was the Australian P4P top 10?
Sakio Bika still refers to himself as an Aussie:.....Vic seems to list himself as Armenian these days. So should he be included?
He is something like 23-1, but he's been advanced slowly. Lost last up against Jessie Vargas. But Wale wasn't out of his depth and acquitted himself well...what's the crack on Omotoso?..does he still consider himself a Aussie..I heard he went over the States..just wonderin' if he's ever been back?
..I thought he was gunna be the next big thing for a while there..
Agree with you there. I'm sure there are plenty of fighters who have moved to the US from other parts and now refer to themselves as Americans...mate..for my 2 bobs worth..if someone wants to come to our country and fit in with our way of life and contribute in some way..then i'll welcome them as a Aussie..
..even better when they can help us pump up our too skinny P4P lists..:good
You'd have to think fighting back here would be unlikely for him unless he comes back to live. His last 7 fights have been in the States...cheers mate..he's kinda dropped of the radar..would be good to see him fight back over here again.,
Is that the order you see them in? Or are you just making a statement about nationalities?1. Daniel Geale
2. Vic Darchinyan (Armenian)
3. Sakio Bika (Cameroonian)
4. Billy Dib
5. Danny Green
6. Sam Soliman
7. Will Tomlinson
8. Anthony Mundine
9. Wale Omotoso (Nigerian)
10. Lucas Browne
There are superior fighters around than Dib, granted. But his world ranking is superior to most other Aussies.Admittedly only going from his last fight but Dib seems very high on these lists. Dib from the Gradovich fight vs Selby is an easy win for Selby IMO.
They don't grow on trees, but I reckon he needs a Johnny Lewis in his life. Jeff Fenech would certainly have lived a very different life with different priorities if the second-father-like Lewis hadn't entered his life when he did.I agree and from what I've read online he's pulled his head in. Apparently he lost his brother around that time. Certainly doesn't excuse anything but if he turns the corner he's got the talent to go all the way.
Not at all well as it turns out. That's absolutely perfect if so. Hooper is the future of Aussie boxing for mine. The kid has all the skills to go all the way if he can keep dedicated. Up to him. I see on boxrec he's listed to fight Togasilimai Letoa on Fox. Great fight for him. Letoa is tough as nails and was ranked in the top 15 of the WBA a year ago when he knocked Manny Vlamis silly. Will be keen to see how Hooper fares.
