Sorry if it's been done before but was thinking about fights that have had a come from behind win after reading about Jake Lamotta's KO15 win over Laurent Dauthuille.

Their is JC Chavez's stoppage of Meldrick Taylor that springs to mind as an obvious one but there are 2 fights that always spring to mind before any others if asked this question.

1) Jorge Castro V John David Jackson - Jackson had it his own way all through the fight & was pummeling Castro on the ropes when a punch landed & Daividson's legs betrayed him - I think he went down 3 times & stopped on the 3 knockdown rule. The ref was close to stopping Castro when he landed the blow.

2) Saman Sorjaturong V Humbeto Gonzalez - The Thai fight had been floored & was busted up facially when he was told at the end of the 6th he had one more round. He went out & threw caution to the wind, splitting Humberto with a wicked cut down his face & rocking him before the ref stepped in to save Gonzalez.

Any others you can think of?

Matthew Saad Muhammad (then Franklin) was well behind going into the 12th in his NABF title fight against Olympic medalist and future (multiple) world champ' Marvin Johnson and simply punched through him to get rid of him in an exhilarating ending to an absolute war.

Most of Saad's fights are in this category admittedly.

Julian Jackson had 'one more round' against Herol Graham. We all know how that went.

Muangchai Kittikasem was being battered and schooled for most of his fight with the shell of Chang, whilst landing some heavy shots sporadically and trading knockdowns (Kittikasem down a few times) Then, in the 12th with Chang on the offensive Kittikasem caught him with some big shots and finished him.

Sal' Sanchez stopping Azumah Nelson. Amazing fight.

A recent example (well more recent) Froch and Taylor.

Yeah Watson fight was troubling. Logan fight, I forgot that, cannot remember the Makathini fight. Some good shouts on Saad & others

Regarding Jackson sparking Graham - it earned me some money on a bet. I used to go the footy with my then boss (deliveries) & was on the way back from Ewood Park when the fight was going on. Boss asked me who would win & I picked Jackson so we had a large wager. He was laughing & rubbing his hands in the minibus while listening to the fight on the radio when the boom came. The look on his face when Herol was counted out was a picture - my only comment to him was "told you, now pay up!"

Another fight I remember is the 1st Barkley - Hearns fight. Not sure if Iran was told one more round but he was cut over both eyes, nose(?) & bleeding from the mouth so it wouldn't have been long before he was pulled out. Tommy walked right onto one & got a coup-de-grace going down.

Haha no problem, understandable since you've been a bit preoccupied haha
Glad @JamieC enjoyed him enough to pass him onto you. Saad deserves to continue to be appreciated.

Marciano V Ezzard II - not so much a come from behind victory rather than he had one round left due to the state of his noggin otherwise he lost.

I suppose v Walcott 1 - the KO punch was a bit illegal though (well in todays standards)

Margarito v Cotto 1 was a nice come from behind victory.

Aside from those already mentioned, Carbajal stopping Arce after being well behind on the cards is one I can think of. Also Tito trinidad, after losing every round until the 6th and getting knocked down a few times, had a big turn around and dominated the second half of the fight.
