Wow. I know people moan about corners being too brave and not pulling guys out when they should but that's taking the piss. At least let the ref finish the count.

What was happening in the fight beforehand? If the guy was taking a sustained beating and his corner man just used the KD as an excuse to get him out of there then fair enough, but otherwise a retarded move from the cornerman

Hell, if Juan Manuel Marquez's trainer was that trigger happy on KD's he'd have about 5 extra losses on his record :lol:

Thats a good point SOK. The guy seemed pretty fresh at the start of the clip and the one who scored the KD didn't look like he thought he could take liberties just yet but, like you point out, impossible to say without knowing what went on beforehand.

It was the first round (contest was Shinsuke Yamanaka vs Kazuharu Morimoto).

TBF, a Japanese boxer had died due to injuries sustained in a bout a month previously. Although understandable the corner were cautious, it was still over the top to jump in like they did.
