Not too many options for a Brit/Commonwealth defence especially with a Ryder/Eubank Jr being the only other real, better options. Too much investment been put into those guys for them to be put in against a talented, more experienced fighter on a rival promoter's card.
Maybe could've fought Prince Arron but this isn't bad, he's keeping active.
@Fleaman I think he's been matched/managed very well over the past 18 months. British/Commonwealth champion, beat a Commonwealth Gold medalist and wasn't rushed into the Murray/Barker/Macklin mix. They seem to have timed it so he picks up the titles they've vacated which is prob the right call given his age.
