Now listing the Haye - Chisora fight but as a NC, only saying Haye won in the small print.

All the fighters on the card now have wrong records according to Boxrec, who have handled the whole thing with the ineptitude usually reserved for the BBBoC.

It's pretty shameful when they're meant to be the site of record, not political.

Questions about Boxrec need to be asked now.

They are meant to be an impartial website whose function is to provide accurate records of fighters past and present.

When the fight took place the Luxembourg Boxing Authority was a internationally recognised body and although they be subjected to punishment for their involvement in the show, it is not the place of Boxrec to list the fight with retrospect.

Also, am I right in saying that the promotional company that Danny Williams' ill-advised continuation of his career has been conducted with are not excatly 100% legit?

They need to get a grip and sort it out. If they start changing records to their liking then the website will lose credibility.

All it takes is for someone else to capitalise in on it and start a website similar but more credible and with no bias involved.]

Isn't that the exact reason were all here btw

Boxrec is a joke. Look at the picture they used on their latest article about Amir Khan:

http://news.boxrec.com/news/2012/amir-khan-hints-roach-split-and-return-england

I actually thought the headline was "Amir Khan hints at Roach spliff" on first glance. It's completely irrelevant to the story and hardly fair on Khan to use it for this.

This shit with calling every bout on the undercard a no contest is ridiculous. As are their so called unbiased rankings where they rate Tomasz Adamek and Kubrat fucking Pulev ahead of David Haye.

I could be wrong but it maybe that they are using a free to use Photograph. Lifting photos which are copyrighted and using on other websites can get the site owner into a world of pain. Especially if scum like Getty come after you. Buying rights to use photos on websites can be very expensive,

As a side note, this is something you guys need to look into for the photos you use for the news items and the home page. Speaking from experience having dealt with Getty, Associated Press and others regards my football site. Hence I use photos which have been published on wikipedia, most images on Wiki are free to use.

:deal all of this is spot on.

They need a get a grip. The whole world saw Haye knock Chisora out, yet they refuse to recognise it because the BBBoC say other organisations can't sanction fights in their constituency, even tho they are a business, rather than a government organisation. Horrific.

BoxRec is a joke? Don't fucking use it then.

I used the photo. I disagree that it's completely irrelevant to the story. The story is about Khan looking again to change things with his trainer, or whatever, when he might look closer to home for the cause of his problems. Stop living the fucking superstar lifestyle when you're not one, or trying to be Money Mayweather when you're not him.

Did you see him sparring on the preview programme? He was having a war with some Eastern European kid, exchanging some really meaty head shots. Tabares tells him to box and Khan said 'That's boring'. Well done. How about being MORE boring, Amir. Stay the fuck out of strip clubs and work on your defence.

As for BoxRec's ratings, they are - quite literally - the most unbiased ratings in the world. That's because the only human element involved is the mathematical formula created to run them: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/BoxRec_Ratings_Description

This means that you will get crazy anomalies - but it won't be based on human subjectivity. So accusations of 'bias' are utter bollocks. Feel free to call them shit, of course, but not biased.

And re the Upton Park show results...IMO they should have gone up in full, straight away. They are now. They were flagged initially as unsanctioned because the LBF hadn't sent in their confirmation letter. They did last night so that flag has come off.

Most people slagging the site off have almost certainly done NOTHING for boxing in comparison to the people who set the site up and the hundreds of editors worldwide who give up their time, free of charge, to provide a service.

If you think the site is a joke, or shit, why the fuck are you using it then? Spend your time more constructively.

Jesus.
