Ok with all this talk of Froch and his place in the ATG list, and then Steve Collins saying last night that he thinks Carl could have been successful in his era it made me think about just who would win a wishful thinking Prizefighter involving them all?!

We've got :

1. Chris Eubank
2. Carl Froch

3. Steve Collins
4. Joe Calzaghe

5. Herol Graham
6. Nigel Benn

7. Michael Watson
8. Robin Reid

I'm sure I've missed someone out that will annoy people but I only had eight places!

So how does it pan out?

Who wins and why? Fight of the night? :bbb

Eubank beats Froch

JC beats Collins

Benn beats Graham

Watson beats Reid

JC beats Eubank

Benn beats Watson (PF Only)

Cant pick a winner over 3 rounds !! Between JC and Benn as JC would stand and trade with Benn, and don't know if JC could discourage him.

Are we talking Prizefighter format? Or an 8 man Super Six?

Good call, I think Calzaghe takes it overall.

I would have loved to see Eubank and Froch, especially with Eubank and his attitude in the Calzaghe fight.

Benn Calzaghe, wow what a fight that would have been!

I was gonna say I'd favour JC overall because of his output and fast-paced, busy style, but I wonder if he'd end up getting dropped early by the likes of prime Eubank and Benn like he has been dropped at times early throughout his career. A knockdown in Prizefighter is a massive hill to climb up from, and with JC's feather-fists if he gets knocked down he's looking at a draw at best.

Froch would have nearly no hope in a tournament like this. Despite how his last couple of fights have gone, he has been a notoriously slow starter for a large portion of his career and I really don't think he would be able to demonstrate his finer attributes over only three rounds. I reckon the Prizefighter format would suit Calzaghe's high output style to take the trophy.

I would love to see Froch-Benn though, but over 12 rounds.
