Brook possibly hiring Rob McKracken

So do you think he could take him to another level or is he all wrong for Brook. McCraken works with a lot of different styles being that he oversees the GB team and considering his success there I see no reason why he can't work well alongside Brook who is in desperate need of some extra help in the corner. People are going to jump on it because he works with Froch who is a completely different fighter but I don't see McCracken trying to make Brook a Froch 2.0 clone so any comparisons need to be thrown out.

Still dont get why this is moved to world??? All Brits have been mentioned???

Is Kell now world news?
Why has this been moved?
There were two identical threads that got merged together, as far as I know the busier one was already in this forum, so it stayed here.

If Chatty originally made his thread in the Brit forum a different mod than I has moved it for some reason, but as far as I'm aware the first thread was already in here though.
Teaching him not to retreat with his chin a mile high would be a start.

Kell is probably the most technically correct/orthodox fighter they've ever had, and despite his numerous strengths he's got plenty of flaws that a man like McCracken ought to be capable of tightening up.

Hope so mucka!
That corner in the Jones fight was a disgrace plus it's clear Kell needs to be fitter and tighten things up, The Kracken would be a good move, no doubt.
I like the idea of this. The Kracken wouldn't let Kell cut corners in training I think.
owts better than the ingles, don't rate em at all.
I made the thread here, was going to put it in the Brit but thought as he is no a no1 contender for a world title that he has maybe moved up to world news now.
Even if McCracken can't improve Brook that much, his advice in the corner is always great and he's relaxed even in the heated moments. I can't see why it would be a bad move for Kell.
I agree with that. His advice between rounds is top drawer imo.
The main area for improvement with Kell is nutrition & conditioning, I'm not convinced he's getting world class sparring & during the Jones fight his corner were poor.

Changes need to be made but I'm not convinced McCracken is the right man for the job.
