This has been confirmed for December 15th, not a great fight, and not sure what preparation this is for either DeMarco or Broner, but whatever hes keeping fairly busy so cant complain

Feel a bit sorry for Liam. 13-0 and a weight lower, yet stepping up to fight for Burns' title? Harsh matchmaking, but nevertheless, it is a shot he hasn't necessarily worked his way up for. Hopefully he can put on a decent show and give Ricky some problems.

Shit fight but at least it's a domestic match up. I much prefer something like this to Burns against someone equally as overmatched but from abroad.
That's true. If it weren't for a world title, it would be a decent fight, but it just cheapens it a bit for me. That said, we've seen much worse from Warren.

ye i thought that, he obviously doesnt rate Walsh, or isnt happy that Walsh made it public he himself was unhappy, so is giving him a fight he cant win, or in fact he really rates Walsh and wants him to take the belt, but i think hes just sacrificing him

''It's not a great fight but I see it a bit like Froch v Mack - a rare "easy" match for a boxer whose been fighting regularly at a high level.''

So looks like Ricky's having a soft touch after a string of extremely hard fights..

 I'm always shocked when people buy into the bullshit that Warren feeds them.

 If I were a foreign fan I'd be looking at this and thinking 'how has that Walsh rookie got himself a shot at the title? Danged Brits and their soft matchmaking.' This is a terrible fight and cheapens world titles. Again. I wish the WBO would hold Warren to a higher standard. Walsh and Bellew, whatever their strengths, are getting things they don't deserve.
