In the UK at the moment, there's quite a few boxers working their way towards the fringes of title contention. Are any of them good enough to dominate their division for any length of time, or do you think that alphabet reigns for a couple of them is all we can really hope for.

Guys like Fury, Price, Bellew, DeGale, Groves, Brook & Frampton could all be fighting for world titles in the next 18 months or so. Do you see really big potential in any of them?

None of them will ever become the genuine world champion in my opinion. That's not to criticise them, they're all quite entertaining and probably all capable of holding some kind of alphabelt at some point. I'd say Price has the best chance of going all the way but it's still far too early to call it.

Billy Joe Saunders imo is the best hope we have of having a p4p fighter from the current prospects. Frampton looks like he'll go far too, but at the moment he's in a divison with 2 of the best fighters out there and a couple more bordering on p4p level too, so it's going to be difficult for him. Other than that i'm not massively confident of any of the others reaching title level and holding on to it against the better fighters in their divisions, Brook, Fury and Groves all will probably pick up titles but can't see any of them being top 2/3 in their divisions.

Think most of the will be belt holders of some kind, but only Brook will be genuine world championship material
Nah, not at Welter, he's nailed on for a soup belt, but genuine Champion? Maybe if Pac and Mayweather retired, and no one stepped up from LWW, I still think Khan-Brook is a close match-up, and Khans not genuine world championship material.

Could have a few belt holders but at the minute I would say if there was only one belt then none of them would win it. Early days of course for a lot of them so will have to wait and see how they develop but at this moment in time I don't think we have any pound for pound stars on the horizon.

Tough one wouldn't have thought that Froch would be one of the top guys in his division with his style seeing him at British level. They all have potential and crucially they are all still learning. Some have probably already found their level already. Some may push on and just get better and better. Look at Ryan Rhodes looked like a dead cert to be in the world title mix from a young age but ultimately Brit/Euro level was his level.

Exactly, would people have said Pacqiuao would be the best fighter in his generation after 10 fights? That's why Selby will be our best ;)
