Regarding his next fight.

Says that Kessler's team and Hearn are working hard to make the fight in England. He still doesn't know of Bute wants to rematch either.

He also mentioned they may hae to navigate the IBF mandatory challenger (not sure who it is tho).

Just seen that on sky sports anyway.

My money is on some step aside money to the mandatory (plus a shot next) and Kessler in Nottingham. Both sides want the fight more than Bute wants it. Bute then gets a tune up and extra time to think about fighting the winnner.

There's no IBF mandatory right now. Adonis Stevenson is the only ranked contender that wants to participate in an eliminator, everyone else that they rank has turned down the chance to fight him.

I don't think there'll be any bother navigating the mando or the rematch clause.

Bute will want a knockover job or two (justifiably so) before thinking about Froch again - I think he'll be up at 175 anyway.... and Stevenson won't want to go straight in to a title fight with very little experience against top fighters.

Stevenson might settle for a slot on the undercard and a shot at the Froch/Kessler winner.

Isnt Stevenson fighting Bika in a few months?

The IBF don't let you stear mandos. You fight or you get stripped.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Bika after Kessler tbh.

Everything does seem to be pointing to a Kessler fight, and rightly so. There really isn't anyone rated highly enough in the IBF ranks that would fancy the fight right now.

The Kessler fight looks as if it has come at the right time as well, with the Dane having slipped a fair bit. He'll also be tight at the weight, as his ouch resistance seems to be dwindling a little. Call me crazy, but I think Froch stops him in Nottingham

If you're getting caught and hurt badly by Allan Green then it doesn't look good. I can't see him having weight problems though, he could have weighed up to 172 last time and came in at 169.

He was talking about going down to middleweight the other week... :stonk
Who, Kessler? He might make 160 of he cuts off one of his legs. I think I actually remember Kelle Sauerland mention that on Buncey's show. But he's pissing in the wind if he thinks he can make that

I can't see it being at the FM arena. It's just too small. It'll probably be at either Trent Bridge or at the City Ground
