Apparently Warren confirmed it on BoxNation.

I didn't see it myself but it's being discussed on ESB..

Anyone heard anything?

I wouldve gone had it not been at Upton Park, the crowd will be full of pissed up football firms all looking for each other

I always thought this was a 12 round fight :conf

10 rounds definately favours Haye, the only way I see him losing this is if he is already injured or hurts himself during the fight. Fury broke his hand, Helenius broke his hand & Vitali hurt his shoulder against Chisora, that cant be a coincidence.

If Haye lands flush early (which I think he will) without any visible effect on Dereck then we might see somthing really special. I still think that Haye is gonna hurt Chisora within the 1st min & bust him up badly but he'll need to land a lot of leather to do so.

If David cant hurt Delboy early on, or he hurts himself in the process then you have to fancy Chisora's chances. Helenius has a very good chin & Chisora beat the shit out of him. Vitali has a remarkable chin but he didnt want to engage & is used to bullying shorter opponents, Vitali went from looking like a grizzled veteran to an nervous old man that night, glad to hear the final bell.

Yeah of course this is warren we're talking about. But this would have become public ages ago if it was always on the cards. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think Haye may have picked up a slight niggle and threatened to pull out, only for Warren to compromise. He looked absolute shit at the presser today.

That's only my opinion tho, and not based on much. Although Paddy Power have just announced they are refunding all losing 'round' betting in light of this news
Ill try and find out tomorrow if he has picked up an injury... I doubt he has though.

He was saying in the presser that his camp was great, & he's totally injury free. He actually made a point of saying that he was totally fit.

You're just bitter than Chisora's single outside chance of winning has disappeared. Who gives a fuck if it's 10 or 12 rounds?

If , in your opinion, Chisoras outside chance has disappeared, surely that is something to be bitter about.. We should all want to see the most competitive bout possible??

It won't be competitive, even if it was over 15 rounds

Of course i'm disappointed, I have tickets for a championship fight and it's not over the championship distance. It's a bullshit move by Haye IMO. One boxer shouldn't be allowed to dictate the length of a title fight, even if it is for a bit of shit intercontinental title. There is clearly something up on Haye's camp, otherwise the extra 2 rounds wouldn't have been a problem.

I'm of the same opinion like you that Haye will be far too much for Chisora and is on a different level which is why I've had a few bets on him by stoppage. That's the main reason I'm upset at being a 10 rounder. However, if I'm wrong, which has happened on numerous occasions, and Chisora stands up to Haye's early barrage, the fight being a 10 rounder instead of 12 could really be damaging to the spectacle.

We've seen Haye at his most vulnerable previously when gassing from the middle-late rounds as he's spent too much energy trying to finish off his opponent. And I don't care about the difference in quality, if you've got good stamina and have a tired opponent in front of you for the final few rounds, anything can happen. Brook-Jones last weekend being a case in point. The fight would just be a whole lot more intriguing if it was 12 rounds due to that lingering issue of whether Haye can last the difference.

Anyway, I hope it all becomes redundant and haye stops him early.

I think that Haye will win by stoppage, I want Chisora to win by stoppage, but I am gutted that the fight is now shorter, as it reduces the spectacle, it's now a sixth shorter! It's like turning up for the British Grand Prix and finding that they have chopped off the last 12 laps.

But then, I'm the sort who hates it when they cut a 2½ hour film just to suit cinema audiences who prefer a two hour film, apparently.
Considering dereck will get smashed in the first six rounds it's easier for everyone.

Let's make it a six rounder then.

Haye think its over in six minutes, lets make it two rounds.

Or go the whole hog and just cancel the fight. It's like with Mayweather, if it's clearly going to be a Haye win, there's no point in him fighting
Haye T.K.O all day all night....Well for 30 mins anyway!.....

Fuck Chisora and his mentality of a 5 year old, does my fucking head in....He is either pretending to be a clown or he really is a fucking idiot.

WARR Team HAYEMAKER!!!!!
Or, they should make them fight with string, glue and glass for gloves. In an undergound bunker, in little gay shorts (no ****). Nook soo cow!

But he is fighting him. The objections over two rounds are utterly hilarious. If Chisora is any good, he'll beat Haye within the ten on points or whatever. Two rounds, in this context, should make no difference.
Dave, it's a fucking shambles regardless of who the reduction favours.

No one party is at fault but its still pathetic to change it at this point.
Nah you can't defend switching from 12 rounds to 10. It was probably always scheduled to be 10 but obviously all involved kept that quiet for obvious reasons. Of course the chance is that it won't really effect the fight much but it's still an insult to fans.
