As per Mcguigan rehydration clause is only 5lbs.

157lb catchweight and Eubank can only weigh 162lb for the second weighing on the morning of the fight.
What's the real relevance of the 157 pounds then?

The end result is Eubank will only be a day behind his normal weight schedule when fighting at super middleweight and Benn will be a blown up 5ft 8 inch welterweight.

Given 162 is much closer to Eubanks SMW than Benn at Welter I don't see how he could complain. If they let him do what he liked and he ended up at 175+ Benn would have no chance. This fight is all about Benn anyway, Eubank is old and has never risen above domestic level (ok he held the IBO SMW belt briefly but the IBO is a bit of a joke really). Benn still has the chance to be a superstar. Eubank should be grateful these will be his biggest payday before he fades into obscurity.
Eubank Jnr is 32. Almost the exact same age as AJ.:ROFLMAO:

When Hearn tried to pull this stunt after Whyte tested positive prior to the Rivas fight I don't think they even had the courtesy to notify Rivas of Whyte's positive test. No doubt Hearn had the same plan here, don't tell Eubank, don't tell anyone, but the media found out and the story got out.

I have heard Hearn get on his soap box arguing the point of having testing if the punishment doesn't match the crime. Yet the hypocrite has now at least twice tried to sweep positive tests under the rug.

Hearn continually tries to present himself as the star of the show rather than what he really is, the director of the show and many have already had way too much of that. Have even heard Hearn refer to his 'legacy', like he has kidded himself into thinking he really is a star. Well Eddie old boy, your 'legacy' has taken some big hits the past few weeks.

You know you have reached the depths when Jarrell Miller can be publicly critical of you with justification ;

Remember too, Hearn claims Miller still owes him money from the advance Miller was paid prior to testing positive for the AJ fight. Will Hearn claim the same of Conor Benn? Not likely. :ROFLMAO:

Well looks like Eddie has tread on a lot of toes. Everyone with a grievance is coming out. Whatsmore its people who would be best advised to keep their mouths shut.

Others who along with Miller who are oblivious to their own hypocrisy include.

John Fury whose own son got banned.

Jamie Moore former fighter and now boxing coach most recently coached Carl Frampton. Moore is a very close friend of Daniel Kinahan the Drug Cartel boss.

Ofcourse Frank Warren saying fight should have been automatically been cancelled. He is the guy who promoted a show when both Chisora and Haye were suspended by the British Boxing Board for a brawl in germany. By using the Luxembourg commission.

Johnny Nelson of Sky Sports who was acting as cheerleader in a similar situations of Dillian Whyte vs Oscar Rivas.Because his employer Sky Sports was the broadcaster.

Well Conor Benn has become the face of PED abuse in British boxing.

This story is not going away. Everyone and anyone is being contacted by the youtube boxing channels to give an opinion
Hearn has claimed the high moral ground over many and it is their time in the sun.

Both him and Benn sounding confident they will hustle their way out of it.

From what Hearns is saying they are going to use the Dillian Whyte defence.

In a that case Dillian Whytes defence was that although the UKAD test was positive the VADA test was negative. And because the substance in his sample a trace amount was so miniscule it could have only come via cross-contamination during the testing process. So legally he could not be banned and if he had been. The court would have over ruled the ban.

So same game is in play.

If that does not work the secondary defence will be, because VADA is not recognised by the BBBofC and is not connected to World Anti-Doping Association. Therefore legally British Board cannot ban him on the basis of their test.

3rd line will be to claim trace amounts were in some over counter supplement.

If those fails 4th line of defence like the above will be to get the sentence reduced by claiming the nutritionist, doctor etc gave him without his knowledge.

Only spanner in the works is if he has indeed failed the test on two seperate occasions this year.

But overall would not surprise me if he totally gets away with it or a minor slap on the wrist. And is back in the ring in a few months.
Expect the worst and least justifiable result possible. It is boxing.
