So Benn provided a 270 page report to the WBC but zilch to UKAD and the British Boxing Board. And refused to cooperate with them.

As expected his team are hoping to most likely hoping a bribe to the WBC will get him leniency. And use that to claim he is innocent.
So far he claims he is innocent based on the findings of the team of scientists he personally hired. Thats akin to the Tobacco and Sugar industries and many others who hired Scientists to say their products were safe.

He seems to be banking on the fact that the public are stupid enough to buy into all this.

There is increasing speculation Conor Benn will cleared by the WBC and reinstalled into their rankings next week. Rumor has it that the WBC have accepted Benn's excuse that the positive test they have been dealing with was the result of cross contamination.

What a joke if true. In any case, there is still the 2nd positive test for him to try and explain away.

Conor Benn is a drug cheat. Everybody knows that and nobody will forget that.

Reports now that Conor Benn has been notified by the WBC that they will reinclude him in their rankings next week.

Shocking if true but important to remember the WBC doesn’t license boxers, they only sanction championship fights. So the fat lady hasn't sung on this one by a long shot yet and Benn may be forced to license with some obscure body and fight a long way from the United Kingdom.

WBC have ruled that they believe Benn did not knowingly ingest Clomiphene they have accepted his excuse that he ate too many Eggs that have come from Hens fed clomiphene.

Well, this is disgraceful, he wasn't eating 30 eggs a day and I'm hearing that the use of that drug in chickens is illegal in the United Kingdom anyway so where did he get these eggs from? I'm surprised the WBC would stick their neck out like this for a Conor Benn, they banned Canelo and cleared Benn, it's not making sense. The BBBC are still demanding the dossier though and I don't know if you saw Robert Smith on talkSPORT the other day confirming that Benn won't be fighting in the UK unless and until he's cleared by his organisation

All the arrogance and bluster from Hearn and Benn for the last 6 months about people having to grovel and apologise once facts came to light. Has backfired they have just made a mockery of themselves. The ridicule on Social media and the Tabloids is hilarious.

In a nutshell Team Benn pitched two excuses in their 270 page dossier. the WBC only accepted the Egg excuse citing that they could not prove Benn had intentionally taken Clomiphene. Which is hardly an exoneration.

But rejected the first and main excuse which was that Kings College London Lab used by Vada and all sporting bodies in the U.K. may have been responsible for contamination.
That was what Team Benn were aiming for, and I think even the WBC as corrupt as they are decided to reject this accusation against a highly respected and reputable Forensic Science Laboratory.

If WBC had accepted the accusation against the Lab. Then Team Benn and Hearn would have claimed full exoneration calling for people to issue retractions and aplogies. As it stands Benn and Hearn are just laughing stocks.

Would have been better just accepting it was in his system and taking a 6 month ban. A bit of contrition would have helped his reputation.

I did hear Smith's comments and actually posted them above.

Hopefully Smith and the BBBofC don't cave in.

I think it’s fair to say he has been left with Egg on his face.

Conor Benn has released an Essay saying his innocence has been proven.

To summarise.

The laboratory that tested him is to blame.

The BBBoC is to blame for disrespecting him.

The Press is to blame for causing speculation.

The fans are to blame for speculating.

And the icing on the cake he claims in his 270 page report to the WBC he only tried to pin the blame on the testing Laboratory for causing contamination. The WBC came up with the Egg excuse themselves.
