The fighter, who stands 6'9" and weighs in at 18 stone, went out for dinner with his fianceé Jade at a Chinese restaurant charging £14.95 a head for unlimited food.
But the undefeated 29-year-old, a bronze medallist in Beijing four years ago, ended up packing away so much food that staff asked him to leave.
Luckily, Price - who beat Sam Sexton to win the British and Commonwealth titles in May - was happy to laugh the incident off.
"It was quite funny when they said I had to stop but my missus was a bit embarrassed," he told the Daily Star Sunday.
"I have a high metabolism and don't put weight on so I can gorge on food. I eat out a lot and thought I'd give this all-you-can-eat buffet a go," he added.
"Obviously they didn't mean all you can eat because they weren't happy with how much I was having. I'm not even sure how much I had because when I start eating I can stuff my face for ages."
Price added that he wasn't surprised to have gone overboard, as he is well aware that he has a huge appetite.
"When I have a fried breakfast I go to town," said the Scouser, who has to buy two seats at Anfield whenever he goes to watch celebrity pals Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher in action.
"I have six sausages, seven rashers of bacon, four fried eggs, a few black puddings, beans, mushrooms and seven or eight pieces of toast. And I still feel hungry!"
Daum dude eats like A horse... Seems like A quality bloke, high hopes for him to!
