David Price vs Audley Harrison?

I've heard this fight minced about in rumours, if it comes off who takes it?

Is Audley a legitimate step up for Price? on the surface I think not but when considering, knockout victories over Sprott and Williams probably trumps Price's career so far.

Even though Price is the one on the up I think it's a legitimate cross roads fight with the winner of this hopefully taking on the loser of Haye-Chisora before stepping up to the world and euro scene.

The issue here is that Harrison will try baiting Price in and I think Price will happily take the bait and push Audley's shit in because he won't be sharp enough to unload his left hand. One concern is that I've seen Price hurt in the Olympics and if Audley catches him flush, ti'll be ihteresting to see how David stands up to it.

do you think this fight will come off/ If so who takes it?

yeah but if fury beats chagaev, he'll prbably get matched up with pulev for the euro belt, price wants the winner of that fight.
Since when is Fury fighting Chagaev...
well if pulev batters fury then price should chase him instead :good
That would be a great fight. They have sparred, in the Am's at the same time, i would slightly favour Price.
Anyone know if they fought in the Am's?
What's happening with Helenius? Is he still injured?
I love this fight.

This is a good challenge for Price. Maybe not in terms of the actual fight, but the actual promotion.

They'll be a lot more media interest, Audley is a great talker which brings a different set of challenges that Price hasn't faced yet.

I like the fight allot.

For people asking there should be news of my next fight this week. It won't be a defence of my titles. Likely a fight in USA

Not Audley for now at least.
There's nobody to fight domestically if the Fury fight can't be made.

Audley is crap and wouldn't be a test.

He was always shit scared against 6ft cruisers from the back of beyond who couldn't throw a jab properly. A man who is as tall as he is with heavy hands would make him literally shit his pants.
Price tweeted not long ago.......Said announcement next week and he will likely be fighting in America and will not be defending his belts.....So Harrison is a no go cos hes not defending his belts so likely to be facing a Yank.
So he's fighting in America...well I'd imagine it'll be against some 'can' who he'll knock over early and do absolutely nothing for his development. Audley, to my mind, would be a good fight to take for him right now. I'd like to see it personally.
I would like a Price v Skelton defence in July with Audley vs someone like Larry on the undercard. They could then build up to a big September fight. I think Price will be still 1 defence short off a Londsdale belt. Towers would have not part of him, therefore Sprott in December before moving to an EBU belt in 2013
You must really hate Skelton.
ASDA Price BRUTAL KO1 ***** Fraudley.

Foreman Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook!:smoke
I don't mind this fight to be honest, I expect Price to stop Audley but if Audley lands himself it could get interesting.
Spot on.....Audley has all the skills but for whatever reason has never applied them. It could be his heart or just lack of confidence but the one thing that he can do is bang when he has to. I'd take Audley in this one....thats how little respect that I have for Prices skills

No contest, A-Farce would be flattened the moment Price opens up.

In that case, we'll see a super Price-Pulev showdown for the EBU, a stylistically dangerous bout for Price in which i'd give him heaps of credit for winning either by KO or uncontroversial decision.

Taking the powerful ramrod jab of Pulev into account, I think he'd surely push Fury's shit in, & end Channel 5's dabbling in Boxing on Terrestrial TV. :err
Price wouldn't even break sweat and beat him, Audley still looks like an amateur at times

pretty much agree with everything here.
If Audley actually had heart he could have had a good career.
If Audley actually had heart he could have had a good career.
I remember even going into the Sprott first fight people thought he had the potential to achieve something but since then his career has been utter shite.
