DAVID PRICE wants to defend his British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles against bad boy Dereck Chisora.

Del boy's British fight licence was withdrawn after a wild press conference brawl with David Haye back in February but he is expected to reapply next month.

Price, 29, who risks his titles against Matt Skelton at Aintree Equestrian Centre on Friday, said: "Dereck is a fight that interests me for the simple reason that he is a good fighter.

"After I get Skelton out of the way Dereck is the only one left at domestic level.

"There is David Haye, but it looks like a world title or nothing for him."

Promoter Frank Maloney believes it could take place next spring at a football stadium but Price warned: "It would have to be on the grounds that I was defending my British title.

"I want to keep my Lonsdale belt so Dereck must get a British licence."

Chisora hasn't boxed since being stopped in five rounds by Haye in front of 30,000 fans at Upton Park in July when they held Luxembourg Boxing Federation licences.

I really like the idea of this fight and it definitely makes sense. Hopefully it happens early next year. This "football stadium" talk is bollocks though, the fight wouldn't be that big.

I don't think it makes mug sense for delboy, if he loses he gets branded as a domestic level fighter despite this being a world level fight and delboy should smash Helenius again and re-establish him self as a world contender

Will this still go ahead after Skelton lays Price out?

I dont see what Chisora can do to win. I think its admirable how he isnt going down the easy rout to rebuild himself because he could take a few of the lower down top 20 heavyweights and beat most of them.

I don't think Delboy should take this fight. He should focus on rebuilding and most importantly, rematching and beating Helenius. He should build up a few decent wins before getting demolished again at the hands of Price.
