Unfortunately, he's not a likeable personality, his fighting style is unlikely to provide the fun that Tyson Fury's does, and Mick hasn't exactly shown a desire to match his fighters tough. DeGale, for me, is a busted flush as long as he's with Jim McDonnell. If he's really as talented as some people (incorrectly) believe, he needs a trainer who will be his boss and not a lackey.Good move imo and one that I said he should do not long back. Will get exposure on terrestrial tv which is exacly what he needs to turn around his image and start building a fan base.
I said he should sign a year contract and see out his management contract with Warren then he will be able to negotiate with other promoters easier afterwards.
We will have to see how it progresses but after a promotion move he maybes is willing to reassess where he is and what he needs to do to move forward. A change of coach is a must imo as well and he definitely needs to change his attitude.Unfortunately, he's not a likeable personality, his fighting style is unlikely to provide the fun that Tyson Fury's does, and Mick hasn't exactly shown a desire to match his fighters tough. I agree, he is more valuable to Mick than HearnI think this is a good move for him. He'll be treated like a star with Hennessy and that wouldn't have been the case with Eddie. Getting on terrestrial TV will be great for his career. He'll also get more exposure in the US now too.
He is a personality and he can follow the Eubank model. He will have his fans but mostly I can see Joe Public tuning in hoping he gets splattered.
