Big-hitting heavyweight Dereck Chisora will now headline a multi-title show at Wembley Arena on Saturday 20th July after promoter Frank Warren announced today that he has rescheduled the show from Saturday 15th June.

Chisora, plus undefeated stars Frankie Gavin, Denton Vassell, Paul Butler and Gary O'Sullivan, feature on a huge night of boxing at the historic and world famous fight venue, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/Virgin Ch. 546).

The exciting and controversial Londoner had agreed to face the unbeaten Deontay Wilder, but the American was recently arrested for battery for allegedly strangling a woman that has meant he is unable to travel outside of the US. Because of Wilder's arrest, this has caused Warren to delay the show by five weeks and offers have been made to heavyweights Tyson Fury, Manuel Charr and Fres Oquendo.

"I've had to postpone the show by five weeks because of the problems encountered with Wilder's arrest after we were informed that he was OK to fight Chisora on the original date. The postponement to July 20th will allow time to secure an opponent for Chisora." said Warren.

Why throw out Tyson Fury's name? People are pissed off already about this and we all know Fury won't be the opponent so why force yourself to disappoint people again? Delaying the show 5 weeks to get Fres Oquendo would be quite something

 I love how he slams Wilder in one statement and writes this himself in another.

Malik Scott throws his name into the hat

BoxingScene had been advised by Goossen Tutor Promotions that heavyweight contender Malik Scott (35-0, 12KOs) is ready and willing to face British puncher Dereck Chisora (16-4, 10KOs) on July 20th at the Wembley Arena in London.

Chisora was going to face Deontay Wilder on June 15th at the same venue, but the fight fell apart after Wilder was unable to leave the United States due to legal reasons.

After Wilder was officially out, BoxingScene was told that Goossen Tutor had been in contract with promoter Frank Warren's head matchmaker, Dean Powell, and Scott agreed to face Chisora on short notice.

On Wednesday, it was announced by Warren that Chisora's return was pushed back to the above referenced July date. Scott's promoter indicates that their fighter is still willing to travel out to the UK to face Chisora, and the new July date is not a problem for them.

There's no way Fury takes the fight, they're just using his name. Fury already holds a win, he must imagine this version of Chisora would come in better, so why take the risk? Hope it isn't Adamek, he just doesn't have it at HW, would prove nothing.

Adamek is a good fight for Chisora I think he stops Adamek
If Chisora fights Scott he will get schooled and will be harder for him to get a big fight, beating Adamek sets up a big fight against anyone Charr, winner of Mitchell/Banks winner of Price/Thompson
Losing to Scott would mess a big fight up he should avoid that at all costs
