I believe this fight is close enough to a sellout. Not many tickets left.
I take it this Rod Laver arena (or whatever it's called) is smaller than the Marvel stadium which hosted the first fight then? Would love to know the capacity of this arena, it's only because I'm obsessed with boxing I'll be watching this again, the first fight was so uncompetitive I'm not holding out much hope for anything more entertaining this time around but we'll see if Kambosos Jr can make the necessary adjustments

Team Kambosos clearly agreeing beforehand that no one would react as father and son remained silent during the face-off soaking up all of the trash talk from Bill and Devin aimed at each of them. Jr at the very end started to bite but Sr reminded him of the pact and took him away from the face off. Of the 3 main cards this weekend this is the least anticipated for me, I will no doubt catch the replay as soon as I can though.

Haney asking Jr why he fired two of his trainers, "that's fckd up George" he smirked when he was told it's none of his business.

This is the final press conference.

As expected, Devin Haney retains his undisputed Lightweight crown with a unanimous points win over rival George Kambosos Jr. I think everyone will be pleased we won't have to endure this again, there's levels between them, George had his glory but he's not of this class, I don't expect to see him at world championship level again, back to obscurity now for the former champion.

Scores of 119-109 & 118-110 twice provided confirmation of what we all saw. I agreed with the 11-1 card myself.

I don’t see Haney hanging onto all four belts for to long before vacating for a 140lb move.

Once that happens GK has just as good a chance as anyone in the division to pick on of the belts up
I have to strongly disagree and I hope patriotism isn't skewing your judgement here. Davis, Garcia, Cruz, Loma are the challengers for any belts Haney vacates and I can't see Kambosos Jr beating any of them. I've given him plenty props for beating Lopez Jr but that's all he's really done. He got a controversial nod in his two fights before that and won 2 rounds in his last fight in his own backyard.

I'd even pick Frank Martin to defeat Kambosos Jr at this point. He's had his 15 minutes.

Kambosos' two fights before Lopez were against Selby and Bey, and he won both in uncontroversial circumstances. In each case one judge had it a point to his opponent but the other two judges had it comfortably Kambosos' way. It would have been controversial if he hadn't have got the decisions.
That's an opinion based on your own scoring of the fight and that's fine but stating it as if it's an objective fact doesn't make it so. Some who watched the fight live have a different opinion. I don't score 10 rounders and non-title fights myself but if a unanimous decision isn't reached then there was controversy.

In any case the point I was making is still valid, 3 split decision wins followed by two near shutouts in his backyard in favour of the other guy lets us know where he's at.
