Caught for apparently taking Jack3d containing Methlyhexaenamine, ignorance is no excuse on this one, Jack3d is basically a steroid, it helps you cut fat but also makes you train much harder than you could naturally giving you massive physical gains

God knows the ins and outs of the case but with all these drinks and supplements doing the rounds in gyms it must be a minefield for even honest athletes. I use a threadmill now and again in my local gym when the weather is really shit and pretty much every fucker is on them.

hhmm it sounds like he was genuinely ignorant, but thats no excuse, i thought it was common knowledge this stuff had been banned, anyone know how long he'll be out for?

Jack3d is a pre-workout supplement, nothing to do with steroids. This looks more like a honest mistake à la Enzo Macc than anything else.

Not surprising at all. There was plenty of us hinting at it back when there was an unconfirmed name tested positive.
People were expecting him to have been caught for steroids, no?

it does look honest, but this does help you get good ains in the gym and is banned, everyone knows jack3d is banned so i find it hard to believe he wasn't aware of a high profile banned substance and wasn't intrigued to google it at all, but then when he speaks it seems legit, but fact is he got caught using a banned substance, and a lot of fighters claim ignorance, its a shame but probably wont set him back too much as its not like hes got caught with Testosterone pellets, though apparently that does no damage to your career either

The thing is: of all the banned PED's out there, would anyone really choose to sneakily take some freakin' jack3d to get an advantage? That would be the dumbest doping program out there.

Jacked is quite popular, not that surprising that a boxer would have been using it for a while. Google tells me it's recently been banned in the UK over health fears, yeah. I don't think it crossed Whyte's mind that his pre-workout drink could contain a banned substance. Boxer's outside of the very top don't seem to consult with exercise physiologists, doctors or even nutritionists on the way to maximize their potential, so it's not too surprising that their improvisation with supplements would get them in trouble.

This shouldn't be happening, really. To me, it looks as if there is a problem with the communication between the authorities and trainers and boxers on the antidoping rules.

The label of this product clearly states 'use with caution under strict dosing protocol'. Basically, if you're being drug tested, don't use it.

Same as Enzo, he was stupid and should get a ban but I don't see any intention to cheat (with this substance, at least)
