Just watching Bunce's show back and Warren mentions that both of their opponents will be named on Wednesday, also says Groves is in with a name and Burns should be a decent fight. Probably not going to be anyone good for either of them but who would you like to see them in with and who do you expect them to fight?

Wouldn't mind Groves in with someone like Andrade, old and shot but fun to watch and very slightly dangerous.
Burns has had loads of names thrown about but don't really know much about anyone being talked about.

I expect Groves to fight someone we've never heard of. Maybe Wilceski (spelling!) who fought Degale and Abraham as a complete guess.

If they manage to get Burns a mandatory defence I would consider that a success

Yep,the other day i was thinking that Peter the Pole could be who fish eyes chooses just to see if Groves can do a better job then those two.

Maybe Stieglitz for Groves? Recent titlist, coming off a loss, were due to fight previously. Would help his WBO ranking.

I thought Burns was fighting Walsh in December?
Unless Burns is in a unification or fights Broner he can smoke on a joint of rat poison for all I care. Sick through the back teeth of him fighting opponents I expect him to beat.

As for Groves, I'd like to see him fight Abraham or Steiglitz as said. I said Magee originally but he's busy so I'm all for Steiglitz. It will get him a shot v Abraham and will earn him a few quid. If he fights in Germany he gets his first loss on points though, confident he'll get robbed out there.

He and Degale 2 could happen soon though, the elite at the division batter them both so it's go for Abraham or each other.

Most people I know were saying Katsidis would KO burns. Moses, fair enough. Mitchell was a live fighter, i thought burns would win close on points but KOing him impressed me considering how little power Burns is meant to have. He's staying active at least, but I'd like to see him step up too.

Groves-DeGale II is further away than ever now that JDG is with Fat Mick.

His defenses before coming up in weight were pathetic. Nelson was even worse by making out they were good fighters too. Fighting Cook broke my heart as a fan of the sport.

Burns v Katsidis was timing. Katsidis came off 2 very bad losses and the death of his brother. It wasnt the same bloke that beat Mitchell.

I understand what you're saying but Burns has had it too easy for too long now.
@Bryn I know mate but its a case of nobody else. Even Dirrell isn't a champion and I'd favour him to do a job on both of em. The worst weight to campaign at imo, Ward is a very special fighter too. I'd bump up to Lightheavy if I was a contender there.
