Do you enjoy watching knock outs?

Just wondering if you watch a fight in anticipation of a knock out? To me it's pretty much neither here nor there. Having said that, I did quite enjoy watching Tyson's first 20 fights when they showed them a few years ago on ESPN classic. It was a bit like an Alien film, you knew people were going to get it but just not how.

i didnt like seeing Alvarado get ko'ed against Rios, that was a real good fight from start to finish, with momentum changing all the time, was a bit gutted it finished so early, would like that to have gone on
Butlers finish at the olypmia last friday was a good example of a great body shot finish
Yep I thought the same when I wrote about Hatton. Very similar shot to be fair. I've rated Butler ever since I was told to watch him by a scouse mate of mine and I expected him to be a good fighter but just a talent rather than a special fighter but imo Arnie was right in saying the kid could go all the way. He is very grounded, eager to learn and eager to fight. Strikes me as a lad who loves the game and wants to be a boxer, add that with his talent and a good career beckons.

Another is Bradley Saunders, not long since he turned pro but I know he's a nice body puncher too. Look forward to seeing him step up in level and seeing him work. He's put a few away in the AMs with them bodyshots.

I saw Butlers debut live, and have thought ever since then he could have something special. The big benefit he has in his weight class is the lack of depth in this country. It means though that if he's got it, he'll get to a higher level quicker, so he needs to continue improving and progressing as he has been.
Arnie is rarely wrong though, and i think he could bring Butler along further

:deal Add to the fact that Rios is a massive bellend too.

It worries me that people don't believe Mike is a rapist because if its true then hes lowest of low rather than celebrated idol.
i like all the build up to a fight, the anticipation and looking forward to the event, then the moments before the bell im like a kid at christmas, when the fight takes off i enjoy the battle and the a skills of the fighters... although i love a good ko, but like few people have said, if a ko happens it happens, not overly fussed about it...

i thought it was just me that didnt like him! i cant quite put my finger no why i want him to lose so much, i think its the freddie roach parkinsons thing, coupled with the fact he got an absolute gift against Abril

The roach thing was terrible, also cant quite remember if it was the same 24/7, but when he was joking with margarito getting his hands wrapped and bought in a slab of concrete pretending to tape it up, I was disgusted how they could even joke about it when margarito had been caught red handed (no pun) trying to cheat. The abril decision was a joke, loved when abril slapped him at the press conference, that soon shut him up from talking shit about gamboa!

Dont get me wrong, rios-alvarado was potentially FOTY, just a shame that twat had to be the victor. Would love to see one of matthysse or broner in with him, shame it wont happen though.

finally ive found someone else who doesnt like him. ye i really want him vs matthysse as an eliminator for garcia, matthysse would declare war
Knockouts are bad for the sport. Let the judges sort it out. They're never wrong.
Yes in general, no matter who's fighting a knockout always makes you sit up and take notice.

I dont like them when someone has clearly gone on far too long (Morales-garcia2 was difficult to watch, glad the corner jumped in straight away).
Do I enjoy watching knockouts? What kind of a silly question is that?

You might as well ask; Do football fans enjoy watching players score goals?
Some good points made here guys. To combine the responses here that I agree with:

A KO stops the fight with a clear victor (stoppage of course has room for argument), so less room for bad decisions.
A KO is the most significant event in one fight, it is the thing that gets me on my feet, so for that I love 'em. Froch-Bute a prime example.
They can be painful to watch though. Watching Hatton on the canvas after Pac's KO was not fun, and beatings that go on too long can be equally unpleasant to see.
Haye's KO of Chisora, at the other end of the spectrum, was kind of guilty-funny as it looked like Delboy was still swinging a right even as he tumbled to the side. I've no problem seeing Del getting KO'd.:yep
They can rob you of the rest of a potentially great fight, though at teh same time can end a dull fight mercifully.

After being intrigued by the posts by @Avidlemon and @sean87ph I have just watched Froch V Pascal for the first time. :happy
Cracking fight and it's astonishing that we didn't see a knockdown in that.

Now on to something else. I reckon Holyfield V Bowe 1.:ibutt
Yeah I love a good KO. There's always the hope that the other guy is OK though but when that's clear then seeing a KO is sweet.

Angulo's left hook the other night was a beauty.
I love a knockout. What boxing fan doesn't? Having said that my favourite all time fighter was Pernell Whitaker and I certainly didn't watch him box for his knockout ability.
