Every time I see an update from Boxing News etc. I know it'll be a goldmine of turd in the comments section. A turdmine.

Here's a nice one I saw earlier:

"Ward. Broner and Garcia shouldnt even be mentioned. They cherry pick easy wins. They cant do that they are not on mayweathers level ."
So Ward cherry picked Froch and Kessler, the 2nd and 3rd best fighters in the division respectively after himself...
Garcia cherry picked Khan?
Broner fought DeMarco who was rated at number 1 in the division and is set to fight Abril in February after Burns bottled it.

Facebookers say the darndest things...

Post some stuff that's made you go 'what?!' recently.

I have one mate I always have to bite my tongue around. The one time I remember more than any other was when he straight up told me I was wrong when I said Ricky Hatton would beat Malignaggi. Speaking in a condescending tone, he told me that Paulie was going to knock Ricky out.

This based on having seen Ricky Hatton once in his life, against Mayweather, and never even having seen Malignaggi fight at all!

Some prat I know travelled up to Glasgow thinking Mitchell would knock Burns out. Tool.

Seriously tho, 3 stand out.

1) I was getting ready to watch Khan - Maglinnaggi with some pals. i said khan will easy beat Paulie, but one of them said:
'The thing with Maglinnaggi, he is slow, but he can FUCKING punch.'
Slightly giggling, I said 'no mate, it's the other way round. He is quick as hell, but is really feather fisted.' To which my mate replied:
'Oh, I must be thinking of the other Maglinnaggi'. Epic EVT win for my mate

2) I was told that Harrison vs Haye was a 50/50, and that 'Harrison will win rounds 3,5,7,8 and 10', a week before the fight. Now THAT is a prediction, not only of how long it lasts, but of also which rounds he will win in the process.

3) 'Degale is utter shit, he hasn't done anything as a pro'
I replied 'mate, he was British champion and is the current European champion.'
My mate then said 'is he STILL european champion?'
'Yes mate, he won it last month'
'Yeah well, he was battered by groves.'
'No mate, it was incredibly close.'
To which he said 'what fight was you watching'

BOOM

I had to endure somebody saying the king is back after Khan's win on Saturday, don't worry I have made a mental note of it and will give him a fucking good kicking when I see him next. :deadmanny

I have to put up with a few fools like this, one time were telling me Carl froch is shit, boring and is dull to listen to and Calazaghe would have knocked him out. I spent over an hour explaining his resume over the last few years and that he took on top quality opposition and that Calzaghe hadn't really fought anyone of merit until late in his career, this information couldn't penetrate there empty minds though.

I got told Jeffrey Mathebula was a journeyan the otherday. I told him exactly what a journeyman was, told him that Mathebula was a world champion (belt holder) earlier this year and at the very least was a fringe contender with a firly respectable record, his answer was, thats the same thing :patsch

Cant count the number of times I've been told that Tyson is the GOAT.

Henry Armstrong was a bum according to many.

Floyd Mayweather is unbeatable, he'd even beat guys like Ali and Louis with ease.

Mayweather has no power, he couldn't even knock out Ricky Hatton
This was said to me at a charity event from a friends, friend.

Now, considering that I made a forum that is basically one big homage to that fight and consequent knock out, I found that hilariously ironic. I calmly, and patiently pointed this out, and explained he did knock him out - trying to give him an easy way out.

Do you watch boxing mate, I saw that fight and I wouldn't really call that a knockout, can't believe anyone would

Well, I eventually asked my mate if he was just on a huge trolling windup, but apparently he likes to talk out of his arse, without knowing what he's talking about. My mate knew about this place and it's roots, so he found it hilarious.
