Interview with Kugie Bear.

About half way through Eddie says: "There's a problem in British boxing at the moment - fighters are not getting paid. I want the board to act. It seems to me that consistently, we are one of the minority [of promoters] that pay fighters within the British Boxing Board of Control rules."

Sounds like a sinking ship.

If half of the rumours about the situation are true then surely he wouldn't have a chance of winning legal action against Burns/Hearn? I dunno, I suppose it will all come out eventually.

Eeally hoping Burns has signed with Matchroom so we can once again talk aout fights fof him without having to discuss 'issues' too.
I'm not sure mate, you would think that it would be in breach of a contract to not pay fighters on time and I believe its in the BBBOC rules that a purse has to be paid in a certain amount of time, not a 100% on that though.

What's certain is he is losing a lot of allies and is rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way, he is disliked by the fans, he is on an obscure channel unable to build what little fighters he has left into stars and is threatening to file a lawsuit against anybody that has an opinion opposed to his.

He is a absolute wanker of a man, you should be able to terminate a contract just for that, and rightly or wrongly I am getting a certain amount of satisfaction on seeing and reading about his plight.

Karma is a bitch sometimes.

sports czar - I wonder if Hubbard just let Frank write the article for him.

I guess he can't threaten to sue people for saying he hasn't been paying his boxers on time now he has admitted to it in an article.
I guess not, probably won't stop him from trying though.

Heres a thought Frank how about selling your Bentley and going without yourself, use the money to pay the very people that enable you to live a good lifestyle in the first place?

"What have they [Matchroom] done in the last year? Taken four guys abroad and got them all beat. What a great track record. There's a good way to build your business."
I somewhat agree with his line about Eddie sending his fighters overseas to lose, Frank's style is to build his fighters up and home and then gift them a title, then to milk it, before essentially being forced to face a decent contender. Worked for him so far.

 That's a good point. Tempted to stick up an article titled ' Warren doesn't pay his fighters on time'.
