Now im a Tony Bellew fan and on a personal level i hope does win, but from a betting point of view and just a view of the fight without taking sides... Miranda is not getting the respect he deserves.

End of the day, is Miranda as big of a puncher as Ovill McKenzie.............YES infact he probably hits harder, and Ovill fight did expose Bellew is vulnerable at very least, at worst he can't take a punch. Think to much is being made of the Cleverly fight, yes he was impressive but Nathan is a feather fisted puncher so Bellew could afford to take so many shots, and end of day he did lose and Cleverly imo still has alot to prove himself. The second Ovill fight was a borefest and if anything it proved how lacking in confidence Bellew and his camp had in his chin if he went to brawl again.

Mcintosh fight might aswell have never happened, he did what he had to do but neither did it prove anything he stopped a static robot with zero ability.

For me this is a MASSIVE MASSIVE step up in class for Bellew and whilst i hope he wins i think hes going to come unstuck. Losses to Bute, abraham(twice), Pavlik & Ward are nothing to be ashamed of.

People seem to be banking on Miranda being pasted it, but having seen the weigh-in he looks in the best shape hes been for a while and looked up for it.

If Bellew does what he did in the 2nd Ovill fight he will win this easy in a very boring fight, but hes talking about going to stop Miranda and if he does he will come unstuck imo.

Im all over the 6/1 stoppage win :deal:deal

But i do hope Bellew wins and puts on a impressive performance and stops him. Fair play for him for taking such a fight, it says something when he has a tougher fight than the "champion" Cleverly.

For what its worth, Miranda doesn't seem as hard a hitter at 175 as he was at lighter weights. He looked fairly poor against Despaigne and Chielmba to. I think its a bit of a stretch to go for a Bellew stoppage, as he's likely to be fairly cautious and wary of Miranda's power, so a smart bet would be a decision win for Tony. Think he will get behind his jab from the get go.

Good luck with that. Bellew will outpoint Pantera to a UD IMO.
If it goes 12 only one winner, Miranda is annoying to watch hes so lazy at times. Bellew can only lose this fight, i don't think he can afford to put on a performance like he did in 2nd Ovill fight, which is why this fight is so exciting, it's his to lose. If he trades with Miranda he will come off worst.

I do hope he wins though, just as a normal fan without thinking with my heart he still has it all to prove, i for one hope he destroys Miranda and is impressive.

Im just not in the same thinking that most seem to have that Bellew has proved his class yet or he is somehow way ahead of Miranda in skill. it's a close fight that will answer how far Bellew can go. I do think Bellew has the potential to be top class, but i can't get over the first Ovill fight i think he will always be vulnerable to big hitter.

Unless Tony gets reckless and stands in the pocket where Miranda can land his crude, clubbing blows, I think he'll win this comfortably on points. There might be some scares in the first few rounds when Miranda is still somewhat dangerous, but after eating the jab for five rounds he'll lose interest.

Bellew to box and break down Miranda and stop him around 8 or 9. Bellew will start to grow in dominance and Miranda will start to feel the force and he's quick to crumble mentally. I see the ref jumping in or corner pulling him out..

Nah.

Miranda is and never was a LHW, the size difference tonight will be ridiculous. Miranda's best days were what 5/6 years ago? Miranda is crude, lazy and predictable. He has never demonstrated his alleged Baileyesque power for years and certainly not at this weight.

I think Bellew will box rather than brawl, bust him up with calculated pressure and stop him.

Could Abraham beat Bellew? Not for me. Ovill/Ajisafe was a long time ago.

Tony looks pumped, ready and angry as ever.

Oh and Cleverly is not feather fisted.

Are you for real with that comment, you would put Bellew as favourite vs Abraham:yikes:nono

This is what I'm hoping for. He's been talking a lot about going out there and making a statement and knocking him out etc. and I hope that doesn't mean he wants to go out there brawling. I'm really hoping we see that jab he showed us against Cleverly and like you said the knockout will come eventually.

I see he stopped him. How did it go? Calculated pressure? Saw the last round the size difference was pretty noticeable... :conf
