I like Bunce but one of the main things good about Bunce was that he was his own man. He'd say what he felt.
Now he's a company man, as you said he's playing the politician and won't hear a bad word about Warren's fighters. I can fully understand why people don't like that.
His radio shows and call-ins etc. are still great though. No-one can touch Bunce when it comes to that stuff.

I'd imagine it will be.
Not a massive Bunce fan to be honest, he's alright but not really my kinda steez. Don't think I'll make a return to listening to boxing shows for it, good luck to him though.

I understand that, but it does seem to be disproportionate at times. Almost as if he's offended the very core of fans' feelings just for having bills to pay!
Maybe I'm just good at ignoring him on BN, but I still love his pieces for the Independent. He's got a real knack for picking details out that capture the themes of the story.

Ive noticed hes started getting a bit short with criticism, im sure someone on here called him on him saying Garcia was ruined by Theophane, and he went mad saying he hated anonymous critics (the guys name was on his twitter) so i guess its all getting to him. but his shows are always decent, you just have to accept hes not going to slag off his boss every show, theres still subtle criticism when its especially bad

I suspect he feels that Warren is getting slated, often just to get slated. That's a little unfair when it rarely goes the other way. It does surprise me that Bunce has such thin skin over it though. Sometimes I feel people get outraged at anything pro-Warren that Bunce says, rather than investigating it closely.
The response to the thing with Shawn Hawk was pathetic. It was a silly, old-fashioned reference and yet the drama queen forces let rip - you'd have thought he'd handed Hawk a small-pox covered robe for the walk-in.
