Guerrero doesn't stand a chance. I think he'll go in there trying to make it a brawl like he did with Berto and then eat some sweetass uppercuts before realising he can't win on the inside or the outside and then he'll weep.

I think Guerrero has the best chance of anyone in years. Infact, I'm looking at his last bunch of opponents and who really looked like having any chance of winning?

Cotto was obviously just an opponent, Victor is always hot and cold and I don't think anyone really thought he had a chance, not even De La Hoya, Mosley was years past it but still a few people believed he could do it, and he almost did, Juan Manuel Marquez was too small at the time and most people who thought it were only probably thinking it because of Mayweather's time out of the ring. Maybe since Hatton or De La Hoya?

Guerrero is hungry but he's not a mentalist like Victor or has one gameplan like Mosley, Hatton or De La Hoya and then fade. Cotto was probably Mayweather's most varied opponent, but Mayweather led him to fight his fight, I believe he wanted him coming towards him, he chose that fight. Yeah his legs aren't what they used to be, but he tolerated a brawl and letting Cotto inside a lot more than he usually would.

I think Guerrero will really come to fight for this one, and the story is interesting. I wouldn't sleep on him. Plus Mayweather is coming out of another layoff and out of prison, he could turn up old in any upcoming fight, and I wouldn't be surprised.

Just confirmation of what we already knew. It's a solid fight, the only welterweight bout I would have favored to this is Bradley but that was obviously unrealistic. Guerrero will come to fight and with the right tactics could cause alot of problems for Floyd. Both are versatile enough to fight on the inside and out so I'm intrigued to see where this fight ends up, I think Guerreros best chance is to stay outside and use his speed like he did in his lighter weight days, if he comes in with the same tactics we've seen of late he's gonna get busted up.

It's an intriguing fight. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the Alvarez/Trout and the September date pans out, could be a real big year for Floyd.

A few days ago, Ruben Guerrero, father and trainer of Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, exploded with fury after taking offense to some recent comments that were made by Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father and trainer of WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) will defend his title against Robert Guerrero (31-1-1, 18KOs) on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Showtime Pay-Per-View will carry the event.

"We can go in the parking lot, me and him, and let's see who's walking back. I'll kick his f***ing ass, him and his son. I can meet both of them in the parking lot. I don't need Robert. I'll kick both of their f***ing asses. That f***ing ass will go down. They want to heat it up, I'll heat it up," Ruben Guerrero said.

"I'm 30-0 in the barrio, knocking fools out. I'm undefeated in street-fighting. I'm a street fighter bro. They brought him in because he's a band-wagon. I've been with my son since he was five-years-old. My son never treated me like a piece of sh*t on TV like his son did. That guy don't scare me. He ain't sh*t to me."

Mayweather Sr. caught up with BoxingScene.com and demanded that we post his response to Ruben.

"Let me tell you something, I'm not worried about Guerrero's father or his father's father or his uncle's father. I'm not worried about anybody's father. If he come up on me, I will whoop his ass - that simple. Let me tell you this, all he has to do is sneeze and his f***ing ass will go down. Let me show you something [starts throwing quick punches]. What's he going to do [against that]? Ain't no street fighting gonna help that. You can't see that sh*t. Ain't no damn thing that he can do. He better listen to what I'm talking about," Mayweather Sr. said.

"It will end quicker than it starts. That means it won't even get started. If that's what he wants, [a fight in the parking lot], I'm happy to oblige him. I want him to get the message - I'm gonna f*** him up. These are my words. I will kick him in his ass and show him that his ass can not fight. I don't give a damn how big he is. I don't even know how big he is, where he come from and who put him here. But I know where he's gonna go to. At the end of the show I know where he's gonna go. He's going to get a chance to see everything that he wants to see. He's gonna be out there dreaming that he's fighting with me because I'm gonna knock him the hell out.
