Feels like forever since I last watched live boxing. Let's do this. :bbb
Boxnation showing the Witter-Gavin fight first... :-(
Think it's because the card is now delayed, probably weather related. Should now start at 8.
There are a few ticket sellers on the undercard mind.
Brummy twat.
I don't remember them commenting on McPhilbin's preparation before the fight. :think
The first I heard was BJ and whathisface were commenting on it right at the start of the 1st.
Mark McKray is like an orthodox Pernell Whitaker. :deal
I thought he had the look of Whitaker about him, nothing to do with his boxing skills, just something about his appearance.
"It looked like a sure thing when your left hook detonated on him."
always reminds me of when someone claiming to be gethin's mrs appeared on ESB
 I remember that.
Not the greatest night of boxing....bring on Prizefighter tomorrow. :bbb
You bastard.
I'm hurt.

Yup, totally agree pal. He doesn't make the weight for the Olympics 5 years ago, and people make it out that he's not dedicated to the sport in the slightest. He has had well documented personal problems which are thankfully all behind him now.

He is a young 27 in boxing terms, and can make it at European level
I honestly think Gavin's level is around European/Fringe world. I just get the feeling from watching him that he's just going through the motions, he appears to have little ambition and will just crap out sooner or later.
Just to reiterate (should that be hyphenated?) I called Burns stopping Mitchell for months and months before it happened, and a plenty of posters mocked me for it. @Holmes especially nearly threw a shit fit.
I'm sorry. It just came out. Forgive me. And you might be right about Frankie.
You're forgiven. Don't get me wrong about Frankie either, I'm a big supporter, he has all the talent in the world, but as we all know talent doesn't get you everything. Hope he goes on to prove me wrong.
