For Eubank Jnr & Yafai it reminds me of the early Benn days when prospects fought regularly. Imagine Buglioni and Mitchell Smith watching the TV last night and seeing Eubank out 2 weeks on the trot on National TV, and Yafai headlining in January. They must be stratching their heads especially as they are signed to a boxing channel and not getting any dates. I assume they are the Burns bill on Saturday and will wait to be pegged on a show next year.

The way Eubank has been brought along has been ridiculous. Very risky but it's working so far. He's only been boxing for about 1 year! If he keeps on like this he'll have fuckloads of experience in a couple of years when he wants to step up. Hope they don't throw him in too deep and ruin him too early though. All that posing and stuff cracks me up.

Really wasn't expecting him to be out last night after last week but fair play to him.

Yep, fair play to them. Prospects should be looking to fight 8-10 times a year during their fist couple of years as a pro. The last batch of Olympians are getting toward 4 year pros and have had 14-15 fights.

i think hennessy is a joke, his fight nights are bollocks, and the reffing, commentary the whole lot is ridiculously bias, the whole feel of the event feels like an amateur show...

eubanks went in with a guy who fought 1 fight in 2 years, so what if he fought last week... i hope eubanks ends up winning a title, but i think hes too hyped up, no power and gets hit, his dad backed up the posing, he doesnt...

fury's opposition has been weak as fck, last weeks fight they where singing side by side at a piano, one singing one playing the piano??? they for real??? lol

degale seems to of gone back to his slapping to, i swear hes gone backwards in skill since losing to grooves, he should get back with frank warren...

Eubank is being active, every opponent can't be a massive challenge some are just going to be marking time fights during the first year. I'm not convinced Eubank is going to get past British title contention but I like the way he's being progressed at the moment.

I'm not sure DeGale is any worse now than he was before Groves either TBH. I didn't rate him then either.;)

Most boxers that Eubank has been in against have been very good for his level. At the moment it's all about building experience and they've brought in a lot of opponents with far more and far better experience than him. Fighting twice in 2 weeks is pretty unheard of at the moment. Bradley Pryce is a very decent name to have on your record at the end of your first year and then going straight back out and fighting the week after? Can't have any complaints about that.

lol i was never degale fan either, but i think he did get better, he stopped slapping and measuring his punches, started boxing and looking decent, now he seems to of started slapping and measuring and chilling on the ropes again???

what a come back fight he had at an essex shopping mall hahaha its a crazy move for a promoter with fighter who has an ego as big a degale, how can a fighter who sold out the 02 became a household name and won gold get up for a fight in shopping center??? the hennessy stable is bone yard imo

i agree, bradley pryce albeit shot, is a great name to have on eubanks record though, pryce done really well in that fight to!

i hope kid gallahan leaves him, i think hes a good prospect...

i think maloney has always managed to bring his fighters on well, granted hes not massive (in hight and promotional sense lol) but hes brining price along great...

A prime example of this is Callum Johnson who fights under Warren who since turning pro has had very little activity and Scotty Cardle who fights under Hearn fighting quite often and both trained by Joe Gallagher.

yeah i dont blame him, just looked at his record, hes only had 5 fights in 2 years, and hes 27yrd old...
These days it really comes down to either being very talented or very popular coming from a city or area where thousands will turn out, doesn't seem to be a place in boxing for these others who get lost on under cards and no activity.

Just spoke to a lad who signed with Denis Hobson recently. The plan is for him to have 6 fights next year, including one in America. To be honest, most prospects should be managed this way

Agreed, I think prospects should go on the road more and fight abroad mix up your opposition. Groves is a good example fighting on the Marquez v Diaz undercard and the Guerrero v Aydin bill.
